Announcement   Hello and welcome to Life Art Designs! For now, you can find my work online and offline at the following places: https://www.facebook.com/LifeArtDesignsbyJanie (please "like" my page),
and http://dauphinislandarts.com/the-art-and-the-artists/janie-delchamps-zetsch/ Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council, 1008 Alabama Avenue, Dauphin Island, Alabama. And also at the following links listed below.

The beads and much of the individual component findings that I use in constructing my jewelry designs are also individually handcrafted by me. Each piece I create is unique and one of a kind (OOAK), whether it be made from silver or the polymer clay.

The inspiration for my work comes from nature I see in my own local enviroment where I live, on Dauphin Island, Alabama, a barrier Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Our waters teem with bottlenose dolphins, crabs, and all kinds of fish. Much of my work is nautical in nature, or based on the sea life around us. Our Island is also a bird sanctuary and host to numerous species of birds. At other times, I also like to experiment with my clay and tools, which can lead to some unique designs.

Whatever type of designs I create, you can rest assured that the materials and craftsmanship I use in construction of each piece is of the best quality. If you have any questions about my work, products, process, or shop, please don't hesitate to contact me. You can contact me through my shop here at Etsy, or through my Facebook page. I will be happy to hear from you.

As gorgeous as I looked in photos. Fast delivery. The bail emerges from the item (i.e., it's not glued on the back) so it looks super professional in addition to the beautiful image. Terrific finish.

About

Handcrafted silver, polymer, and mixed metal jewelry by Life Art Designs

Hello and welcome to Life Art Designs. My name is Janie, and this is my shop. A little about me:

I am formally trained and certified as a Precious Metal Clay (PMC) jewelry artist by the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts. I also work with mixed metals and polymer clay.

The PMC that I create with is pure .999 fine silver and contains no other metal alloys, unlike Sterling Silver, which is .925 silver and contains metals other than silver, or silver plated metal. The silver I use is derived from recycled fine silver. This silver is eco friendly because it is made from reclaimed pure silver. The type polymer clay that I use is quality Kato or Premo artist grade clay. I don't mind answering questions about my process or products. So, If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

The inspiration for my work comes from the nature in my local environment of Dauphin Island, Alabama, a small barrier Island in the southern most United States. Our Island is a natural bird sanctuary, and our waters are abundant in marine life. The Dolphins are my favorite and will always be found in my work.

All of my pieces are hand crafted, one-of-a-kind works of art, each made from scratch, one at a time. My work has been featured in several international magazines such as Metal Clay Artist magazine, Metal Clay Today magazine, and Art Jewelry magazine. I have been awarded "best art in show", and "best in jewelry" in several juried art shows I have attended.

My work can also be seen and purchased at the Dauphin Island Heritage Museum and Art Gallery located at 918 Bienville Blvd., Dauphin Island, Alabama. Our website is: http://dauphinislandarts.com. I also have work at CATS (Creative Artistic Treasures Studio, LLC), located at 4310 Old Shell Rd., Mobile, Alabama.
