About

Stained Glass at Last and Then Some.

All my life people knew I was going to be an artist, even my teachers in kindergarten wrote in my progress reports about how artistic I was.

I ended up deciding to go to college for arts management where I was able to combine my love for art with my interest in non-profit organizations. While at school I took as many art classes as I could, and ended up being able to to graduate with a degree in fine arts as well. My last semester at school I was finally able to fit in a class in a stained glass class that I had always wanted to take and I fell in love.

I continued to work in stained glass after college creating in small rooms in the various apartments I lived in. Due to workspace limitations, I focused on smaller pieces of stained glass - mainly jewelry - for many years.

I rented my first off-site (outside of my home) studio space, and enjoyed making bigger pieces for about a year, but the stress of the extra overhead costs, convinced me to move my studio back home and cut back on my stained glass a bit.

I'm hoping to focus more on my stained glass this winter with two big art fairs in the next two months and the holidays rapidly approaching I know I'll be busy!

Thanks for reading and for supporting small businesses and local artists!
