Light Curves Glass Studio is a full-blown glass shop located in the NY State Catskill Mountains.
My passion for glass started 22 years ago when I walked into a stained glass retail shop in Clifton NJ. I simply fell in love with glass in an instant . The colors, movement and texture of the glass got me giddy with excitement and I started, making Christmas gifts for friends immediately. I was already comfortable cutting glass as I worked in a frame shop for years.
The venture into jewelry making began shortly after in 1992 as a desire to utilize the cut off pieces of glass from my custom windows. I started with making earrings for friends and myself and it quickly evolved into a full line of jewelry that is constantly growing each season.
Each piece is hand cut by myself with a simple glass cuter than ground by eye to a pleasing desired shape. I use both Art glass and hand blown glass. Silver findings are added and or soldered to the piece and some pieces also incorporate semi precious stones. As noted per item.
In 1996 I was lucky to apprentice under Ecclesiastical master glass painter Alberto Postiano in Siena, Italy learning the fine art of painting on glass, and glass fusing techniques. The addiction to create pieces in glass increased and I added a fused line of jewelry as well as hand painted pieces.
The studio consists of myself and my partner, best friend, husband, and collaborator, Nicholas Clemente who is fine artist and graphic designer owner of Design lab. and our 2 highly evolved cats, Oli and Kali
The studio produces custom jewelry, stained glass windows both (Tiffany and lead came), lighting fixtures, bowls, kaleidoscope and more…...
Techniques include: stained glass leading and Tiffany technique. grisaille painting, enamel, and silver stain, glass fusing, slumping, mosaic, and mold making.

Welcome to Light Curves Glass Shop. Custom stained glass orders are my specialty. Designing one of a kind windows, jewelry, mobiles, or glass decorative elements are always welcomed.
I started working with glass in 1989 after walking into a stained glass retail store with friend and was immediately and was hooked on the medium of glass.
My studio currently is located in upstate NY. The jewelry designs are inspired by clean lines and simple geometry. Each piece is cut with delicate attention to the movement within the glass. I work with both art glass and hand blown glass.

Please note each piece is unique and the photos you see depict a typical piece, each piece is cut by eye and all glass has slight variations of movement and color making each piece a one of a kind.
Tiffany line: uses both art and hand blown glass with a wrap of silver the technique has a refined hammered look. All of the finding and chains are made of Sterling silver.
Note no lead is used in the silver wrap.
Fused line; consists of both art glass and hand blown each piece will be identified.
The glass is hand cut with a glass cuter than ground to desired shape. The next step is fusing the piece, it is Kiln fired at 1380 degrees and annealed for up to a day.

Returns and exchanges
Returns on damaged pieces only.
We want you to be completely satisfied. So if for some reason you are not happy with the piece you may return it within 10 days for a piece of equal value. You are responsible for shipping charges of the new item.
If adjustments need to be made I can do that as well

Light Curves Studio accepts papal (preferably) also Visa, M.C., AMEX and Discover Card, check and money orders. For shipment within NY please add 8% for sales tax within NY.
Shipping
Your item will be shipped after payment is received. It will be shipped first class mail unless another method is requested. All pieces will be insured for the full value, if shipped with in the US. All international shipments are sent first class mail with a customs form.
Approximate shipping charge is $5.00 depending on value of item.
Each piece is carefully packaged in a recycled brown gift box and ribbon and comes in a reusable organza gift bag in Burgundy.
Your item will be shipped within 2 business days and up to 8 business days if the item is not in stock. In order to claim damage insurance we must be notified upon delivery if the piece was damaged in shipping.
