ERIN LIGHTFOOT creates jewellery and decorative homewares to be worn and cherished.

Her artisanal collections are created specifically for the giftware market providing unique, exquisitely made porcelain ranges for customers seeking authentic, original, Australian gifts. Working with porcelain, Erin creates simple forms which are thoughtfully decorated with subtly-hued colour schemes and geometric pattern.

Believing that beautifully designed objects add value to daily life, Erin is dedicated to the details of craftsmanship and materiality to ensure products of the highest quality.
Erin Lightfoot collections encapsulate the unique, creative quality of an artists studio with perfected products ready to be presented to the hard to buy for.

Her work draws inspiration from past movements including the Bauhaus, Modernist and Art Deco periods as well as patterning techniques from around the world. She pulls these influences together to create ceramics that feel both contemporary and slightly reminiscent.

BACKGROUND:

Daughter of an architect and sculptor, Erin trained in fashion design before selecting ceramics as the material of choice for her self-titled label.

In 2011, Erin created her first range of porcelain bangles which were featured in Vogue Australia. Since then, her range has expanded with a focus on creating that which is original yet classic and very wearable.

Her label is currently stocked in gallery and gift boutiques around Australia.

In addition to her ceramic ranges, Erin designs custom prints for business wanting to capture a mood through surface decoration. She has worked on projects including surfboards, packaging, book sleeves and mezuzahs.



CERAMIC STUDIO:

When demand for her ceramics grew, Erin partnered with multi-disciplinary creative, Tang Oudomvilay to develop and produce her porcelain ranges. Together, they produce the collections from their Brisbane studio.

All of the porcelain work is completed by hand, with much attention to each detail in the refinement of decoration of each piece.
