My name is Lukas, I am 31 years old and live near Frankfurt. My entry into photography coincided roughly with the start of my Scandinavian studies in 2012. As with any creative process, I initially tried a lot and made a lot of mistakes. It wasn't until 2014, during my studies in Umeå, in the north of Sweden, that my passion for landscape photography really ignited. Surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the north, I was always out and about with my camera, trying to capture the raw beauty of the Nordic landscape.

Although Scandinavia, and Iceland in particular, hold a special place in my heart, Germany has remained my home. I want to show the contrasts of these two worlds: the epic, untouched landscapes of the north alongside the equally impressive landscapes we have here in Germany.

I work full-time as a content marketing manager and am also a freelance photographer and videographer.

Mein Name ist Lukas, ich bin 31 Jahre alt und lebe in der Nähe von Frankfurt. Mein Einstieg in die Fotografie fiel ungefähr mit dem Beginn meines Skandinavistik-Studiums im Jahr 2012 zusammen. Wie bei jedem kreativen Prozess hatte ich zunächst viel ausprobiert und viele Fehler gemacht. Erst 2014, während meines Studiums in Umeå, im Norden Schwedens, entfachte meine Leidenschaft für Landschaftsfotografie so richtig. Umgeben von der atemberaubenden Natur des Nordens war ich jeden Tag mit meiner Kamera unterwegs, um die rohe Schönheit der nordischen Landschaft einzufangen.

Obwohl Skandinavien und insbesondere Island einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen haben, ist Deutschland meine Heimat geblieben. Ich möchte die Gegensätze dieser beiden Welten zeigen: die epischen, unberührten Landschaften des Nordens neben den ebenso beeindruckenden Landschaften, die wir hier in Deutschland haben.

Hauptberuflich arbeite ich als Content-Marketing-Manager in der IT-Branche und bin nebenher freiberuflicher Fotograf und Videograf.
