Our Passion: Fiber Arts

Lili & Mum's began as a small mother-daughter business and has remained just that. From crochet to sewing and now weaving, we both enjoy working with fibers and fabrics. Although we live a few hours apart, we feel that our shop brings us closer together.

Even though we work separately, we often collaborate on designs and ideas. When we have an idea for a new product, we research and plan it out before beginning, considering what we've learned in the past. As we work, we may adjust our plans and patterns so that the item will be the best it can be. We only feature our most quality items in our shop.

Elizabeth began her popular line of themed hats about 3 years ago with the request of a friend and continues to work on improving her designs. These little hats are such fun to make and so adorable on little boys and girls.

Our other baby, children's, and ladies' items are also made with great care. We enjoy seeing the faces of new mothers who receive our work at their baby showers. It makes all the work truly worth the effort just to see a happy smile from family, friends, and customers. Elizabeth also does a bit of custom work locally and is willing to tackle most challenges put before her.

Elizabeth is so excited to bring a new craft to our shop: handweaving! She loves to learn how to weave different patterns and work with a myriad of colors. As she learns and perfects different patterns, she will offer her handmade pieces in the shop under the section titled 'Lili's Wovens.'

    Fiber arts have been my passion for the past four years but an interest for many more. I learned to crochet from my Grandmom and Mom. I also enjoy handweaving, knitting, cross stitch, and spinning. I design and make most of our items.

Welcome to Lili & Mum’s! We strive to handcraft items, which we like to call “affordable handmade luxuries,” that will bring a smile to your face every time you use or wear them and turn your everyday grind into something special. We specialize in crochet, sewn, and upcycled items. We use both recycled and new materials in our work.

Our philosophy at Lili & Mum’s is to handcraft pieces that will bring much enjoyment to our customers. We only sell quality handmade and vintage pieces that we would be proud to either wear ourselves or give as gifts to friends and family. Please take time to read or reference our shop policies. We know they may be a little lengthy, but we like to cover all our bases so that you can make an informed purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: The beauty of handmade pieces is often found in the minor “imperfections” left by the artist. Although we strive for perfection, please allow for such in each piece.

We accept PayPal, credit, and debit cards. Just press the PayPal button to pay with any of these three methods. No PayPal account is necessary. Payment is due when the item is ordered.

We are not currently required to collect taxes on Tennessee residents at this time. This may change at anytime. No taxes are required on purchases outside of Tennessee.

If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so within 24 hours of purchase by contacting us through our shop page.
Unless otherwise indicated, items will be shipped within 2 business days from purchase. Made to order items will be shipped when completed. We will send you a USPS confirmation email indicating when your package has been sent. This includes your tracking number.

Packages will be shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope or Box. USPS estimates domestic delivery in around 2 business days. For single items, shipping has already been determined. For multiple item orders, we will use the smallest envelope or box necessary to safely ship your items.

For your protection and ours, we request that you have a "Confirmed address" - When paying on Etsy, PayPal confirms your address, even if you do not have a PayPal account. If PayPal indicates that your address is Unconfirmed, we will request that you confirm it to us. You may do so before ordering quickly and easily by: "Add a credit card to your PayPal account. PayPal will confirm the credit card billing address (i.e., the address where you receive your credit card statement)."

International Shipping - In order to bring you the best shipping price, we use USPS Flat rate shipping for international orders.

Buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred on international orders and shipping. Please contact us before purchasing if you want to upgrade to Priority or Express on your international shipment. We will try to get a quote for you as soon as possible.

Express Shipping - Please contact us prior to your purchase if you wish to upgrade to USPS Express domestic shipping (estimated as overnight delivery from time shipped). Rates are based on weight and shipping destination and can be found on the USPS website. We will email you a quote within 24 hours (except weekends and Holidays), if requested. After you approve the quote, we will adjust the shipping options on the pieces you would like to purchase for up to 24 hours.

Insurance - If you wish to purchase additional insurance on your package, please contact us prior to your purchase. We will then apply the added insurance charge to the shipping charges on the items you would like to purchase for up to 24 hours. The USPS website can provide with more information about package insurance.

2015 Christmas (December 25th) Holiday Deadlines - USPS states that December 21 is the final deadline for Priority mail. The last day for U.S.bound READY MADE Christmas orders is December 16th. U.S. bound MADE TO ORDER Christmas orders must be placed by December 4th for guaranteed Christmas arrival. However, I would be happy to give you an estimated ship date for made-to-order items ordered after that date, if requested. For international Holiday deadlines, please visit the USPS site and reference their International Priority Mail column. While we will do everything in our power to mail your package by the deadline, Lili & Mum’s is not responsible for the reliability of the United States Postal Service or any other postal service.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with part or all of your purchase, please contact us immediately and let us know why you are unsatisfied. We want to know how we can best serve you!

You may return any unused or unworn items, unless they were custom-ordered, within 1 week of the delivery date and receive a refund of the purchase price only. You will be responsible for return shipping charges.

Damages - Even though we are not responsible for packages after they leave us, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If the item(s) you ordered was damaged during shipping, please contact us with photos showing the damage. We will contact you after we speak with the postal service with your options.

Losses - We track all our Priority packages through the USPS Track & Confirm program and provide you with the same information. Lili & Mum’s is not responsible for events outside of our control. If your package is lost and confirmation of delivery is not given to us from USPS, we will respond on a case by case basis. We cannot refund the shipping charges. Please contact your local post office prior to contacting us if your package is lost.

Exchanges - If you wish to make an exchange, please contact us. Exchanges on unused and unworn items (not on custom items) are accepted within 1 week of delivery. Exchanges are handled as a return with store credit based on the purchase price only (we cannot refund shipping charges). If the item you want to exchange for is priced lower than the item you are returning, we will also reimburse you for the difference. In the case of an exchange, the Buyer is responsible for the shipping costs of both the returned item and the new item. We will issue store credit and email you once we have received your returned item.
