About

I'm a firm believer that one should match her outfit to her accessories.

I'm one of those lucky people who always knew what they wanted to be when they grew up (expect for those few minutes when I considered genetic engineering…) and it happened to be something I loved. I've been a graphic designer for almost 20 years and enjoy it as much today as the day I started. After ten years of working for other people (five of those working twice as hard building my own design business on the side), I finally took the plunge in 2008 and quit my day job.

I was thrilled to learn about Etsy from a friend right around the same time and thought it was the perfect venue for my other passion, creating jewelry, and a great opportunity to have an extra source of income if design business was slow. Soon after opening, I was blessed to have great success and build an awesome client base and have been focused on growing both of my businesses ever since.

The last five years have brought many unexpected changes, and while life is never easy, it's always awesome and I wake up happy everyday. Etsy has allowed me to roll with all the punches life has thrown at me and still continue to work and provide for my family through it all.

I am constantly thankful for the people who support me through my shop and for the opportunity to do what I love everyday!

When you buy handmade, you don't simply receive a special creation, but you also receive special service and care. If your lillyella piece is not everything you hoped for, doesn't fit as you wish or your toddler tosses one of your earrings into the corner mailbox, just let me know! :: ABOUT MY PIECES ::
All items are handmade with quality craftsmanship. Many pieces are made using natural and vintage components, so some variations may occur from the photo listings. If you have any concerns, I am happy to send you a photo of YOUR piece before shipping. Please also consider that every monitor can make color look different.

Most items can be made in different colors or finishes, feel free to contact me for custom orders anytime at no additional charge.

Brass stampings and charms are raw brass which have been antiqued. Brass chains are usually brass plating over steel, some are solid brass.
Most silver components/charms are fine silver (.999) plated over raw brass. My silver chains are rhodium plated unless otherwise specified.

ALL MATERIALS ARE NICKEL AND LEAD FREE!

:: CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY ::
Antiqued brass will continue to develop its dark patina over time. If you would ever like your piece lighter or shinier, you can gently buff it with a silver polishing cloth or 0000 grade steel wool. Water will not hurt your brass jewelry though I do not recommend showering or swimming with it on.

You can also buff sterling or silver-plated materials with a polishing cloth, though to maintain the antiqued finish, avoid using any silver cleaners or chemicals. Also try to avoid lengthy exposure to water with any silver pieces.

:: ADJUSTMENTS ::
I can adjust the length of any necklace or bracelet. All standard sizes are listed with the posting but please contact me before ordering if you would like a bracelet or necklace chain adjusted.

I accept payment via credit card, Paypal or Etsy gift card.

Payment or notification of sent payment is required within 24 hours of purchase or the transaction will be cancelled and the item(s) relisted. Please contact me if circumstances prevent you from paying within the specified time frame or if you have any trouble with checkout.

COUPONS:
You can receive coupon codes through my mailing list and on my facebook and twitter pages! Only one coupon per order, cannot be combined with any other blog or mail list special or sale. Coupons cannot be used to purchase gift certificates but can be used with gift certificates. Please contact me before ordering with any questions.
Shipping
:: ADDRESS ::
Your order will be shipped to the address entered on your ETSY order. Please let me know if your order is shipping directly to someone else or as a gift and I'm happy to include a custom gift card for you.

:: SHIPPING TIME ::
Items will ship within the amount of time specified in the listing, most within 5 business days and often faster.

If you need something quicker than specified or by a certain date, please contact me BEFORE placing your order to see if we can work out the delivery time you are looking for and/or arrange for priority shipping. I can ship via USPS priority (2-3 day) or express mail (1-2 day) upon request for an extra charge determined by location.

All items ship USPS First Class mail. Please understand that once your package leaves my hands, it is out of my control. First Class mail can take up to 10 mailing days in the US and up to 3 weeks for international. Please be patient!

:: CUSTOMS DECLARATION ::
International shipments are declared as handmade jewelry with the exact cost of the item specified. Due to automated postage systems through Etsy, I have no way to make any changes to this.

:: INSURANCE ::
Insurance can be added to any shipment upon request for generally about $1-$3. This also includes international shipments. Please contact me BEFORE PAYING for your order if you would like insurance on your package and I will send a revised invoice. I have had less than a handful of missing packages out of thousands, but it can happen and I am not liable for lost or damaged packages. I will insure orders over $100 at no cost but recommend insurance on orders over $50.

:: PACKAGING ::
Items will arrive nicely packaged in a gift box. Orders of multiple items will ship in the smallest amount of packaging possible. If you buy multiple pieces and need them packaged separately or in a certain way, please be sure to note it in the message to seller box at checkout. I am happy to include personalized gift cards with orders at no cost upon request.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your satisfaction is guaranteed!

If your lillyella piece is not everything you expected or if it does not fit as you wish, please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item and I will refund your cost (not including shipping), exchange for another piece or adjust the size free of charge.

If your piece ever becomes damaged and needs repair, I can happily fix it for you. The piece will need to be shipped to me and upon arrival I will determine if there will be any cost involved or if it is a fault on my end or of the piece, it will be free of charge and your return shipping costs will be refunded.

You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless I make a mistake on your order. PLEASE NOTE: Orders paid for by check or money order are NOT returnable unless you have means of receiving the refund electronically. I am still happy to adjust or exchange them though.
