About

Sewing Hope with Handmade Goods

I loved creating and making things as a young child which still holds true today. Fast forward a few years where I took the safe route working in the corporate world as an analyst for many years in Canada. The part I most enjoyed about the job was the people and helping others out. I then started making things, selling them and given back some of the profits to a charity. In 2004, I went on a volunteer trip to North West China and I was moved to do something rather than passively giving. I then met a boy named Tim who shared the same passions about wanting to help people and empowering them with skills and giving out micro loans to help people in the Philippines. God’s given me my dream job and we want to share with you all the cool handmade stuff we curated or helped designed.

We are a fair trade marketplace selling stylish products through small artisans groups sharing the same mission and values. We love adventure and stories. We’re excited to share the story of the people who made your delightful good. A portion of the sales of each good will journey back to the artisan groups to help fund education, shelter, health, food and micro-loans. Now that’s a story worth telling.
