Ich bin um 6:00 Uhr benommen, geweckt von einer dampfenden Tasse Kaffee, die mir von meinem süßen Ehemann gebracht wurde, das hilft, mich zu Bewusstsein zu bringen und mein Tag beginnt. Wenn ich nicht meinem Enkelkind hinterherlaufe, schneide, nähe, schwebe ich ...... Bügeln, Verpacken, Drucken, Versenden.... Ich liebe es!
Lil Stuff wurde ein paar Monate vor meiner Enkelin geboren. Es wurde natürlich aus der Not heraus geboren und wuchs von dort aus. Ich liebe es, mit Kunden zu sprechen und ihnen zu helfen, genau den richtigen Stoff und genau die richtige Tasche zu finden. Durch einen meiner Kunden entdeckte ich die schönen japanischen Stoffe. Mehrere andere fragten nach maßgeschneiderten Taschen, und ich entdeckte, dass das wirklich mein Lieblingsteil war ... sich zu verbinden und jemandem etwas Nützliches zur Verfügung zu stellen.
... Noch zwei Tage in der Arbeitswoche, nur noch neun oder zehn Dinge zu nähen.... Aber dann steht da noch der riesige Mama- und Baby-Verkauf... nur noch ein paar Nähte, Schnipsel und Pressen, bis ich es einen Tag nenne und....
Wenn das Morgenlicht hereinströmt, stehe ich auf und mache es noch einmal..... Amen.
I'm groggy at 6:00 awakened by a steaming cup of coffee brought to me by my sweet husband, this helps rouse me to consciousness and my day begins. When I'm not running after my grand baby toddler, I am cutting, sewing, surging......ironing, packing, printing, mailing.... I love it!
Lil Stuff was born a few months before my granddaughter. It was born out of necessity of course, and grew from there. I love talking with customers and helping them find just the right fabric and just the right bag. It was through one of my customers that I discovered the beautiful Japanese fabrics. Several others asked for custom bags, and I discovered that was really my favorite part...getting to connect and provide something useful to someone.
...Two days left in the work week, only nine or ten more things to sew.... but then theres that giant mom and baby sale coming up... just a few more seams, snips and presses till I call it a day and....
When the morning light comes streamin' in, I get up and do it again.....Amen.
