Returns and exchanges
We strive for happy customers, so please contact us if there is a problem with your order. We would love to have the chance to make it right. We of course offer refunds or exchanges if the fabric is damaged or if we sent you an incorrect item.

You may return fabric if it does not look the way you had hoped in regards to color, scale, design placement, etc., but you will be responsible for the shipping charge both ways.

If you return fabric, it must be returned in brand new condition: unwashed, uncut, unscented, and unmarked. In short, it must be in the identical condition that it was in when it was sent to you. Lily Bella Fabrics reserves the right to deny a return if the item does not come back in brand-new condition.

As to fabric colors, please note that each computer monitor displays color differently, so there may be a variation in the color of your fabric once it arrives. We do our best to display the colors in my pictures as accurately as we can. In most cases, the pictures used in the listing are ones provided by the fabric manufacturer/designer. If the fabric is not the color you expected, we do allow returns, but the customer is responsible for the shipping charge on both ends, as we simply cannot guarantee that the fabric will look the same way in real life as it may have looked on your individual computer screen.

All fabrics in our shop are cut from the end of the bolt to the length ordered, regardless of the print. On large-scale designs in particular, if you are looking to have a particular portion of the print uncut, placed a certain way on the fabric, etc., you may need to order more fabric that you originally planned in order to accommodate for the fact that we cut from the end of the bolt (as do all fabric shops). We do take returns on fabric that wasn't cut the way you like in regard to print, but the customer is responsible for the shipping charge on both ends.

Sales tax of 6.5% will be added to all Utah purchases.

If you ask us to set up a custom listing, please be ready to purchase the listing within 24 hours. If it has not been purchased at the end of 24 hours, we will cancel your listing (without further notice) to make the fabric available to our other customers. *We do not offer custom listings as a way to hold fabric that you are currently unable or unwilling to pay for.* In some instances, we may leave up your listing for more than 24 hours. However, the fabric in your listing in only guaranteed for 24 hours. So, while your listing may still be available for purchase days later, the fabric within your listing is only held for a day, so you may find that the fabric reserved for you has actually been sold in the time between the listing being created and the purchase of the listing.

If all of the items you want to buy are available directly out of our shop, please buy them that way, rather than asking for a custom listing. If there is a shipping overage, it will be refunded. Though many Etsy shops prefer to write up a custom listing, we prefer that the items are purchased without a custom listing. Yes, it costs us extra fees. But the time it saves us, and you, is tremendous, and absolutely worth the extra cost on our end. Custom listings are intended for custom cuts.
We strive to ship most items the next business day after receiving a cleared payment, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note that we do take Sundays off, both from cutting and from actively manning our shop, so orders placed on Sunday will be cut on Monday and will ship on Tuesday.

We ship all packages through USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the amount ordered.

Our current shipping rates are (US / Canada / Worldwide):
Up to 2 yards: USPS First Class Mail
2.25 – 8 yards*: USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope $5.75 / $21 / $25
8.25 –10 yards*: USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Envelope $7.75 / $23 / $27
10.25 – 24 yards: USPS Priority Flat Rate Box $13 / $42 / $61
24.25 – 35 yards: USPS Priority Flat Rate Box $17 / $55 / $79

*In some cases, we might not be able to fit the entire 8 or 10 yard amount into an envelope. Sometimes, one or more long cuts just will not fit. For example, we are usually unable to fit one continuous 10 yard cut, because of the way it folds. In cases such as this, we will ship your order in the next size up of packaging.

To receive my best combined shipping rates, all items must be paid for in one transaction. If you have paid for an order and wish to add more to the same package before shipment, there will be an additional 35 cent fee combine the orders.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL, and is not included in the regular price of shipping. To add insurance to your order, please contact us. Lily Bella Fabrics is not responsible for items that are lost, damaged, or stolen after shipment. This applies to both domestic and international shipments.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: please note that it is not possible to track international packages. Therefore, while we can provide proof of shipment on our end, there is no way for us to tell you where your package might be. Lily Bella Fabrics is not responsible for packages once they have been shipped internationally. Please understand that a package going missing or lost is a very, very rare event. Packages taking a long time to arrive, however, is not uncommon for international customers, particularly when shipped to Canada or Germany. Lost or delayed packages will not be refunded, unless you have purchased shipping insurance. Shipping insurance is recommended for large international orders. The cost is small, and is the only way to receive a refund should your package go astray on it's long journey.

If you do purchase shipping insurance, approval of refunds/reimbursements will be at the sole discretion of the insurance company. All waiting periods they require must be met, and the final decision regarding whether or not your claim will be paid is at their discretion. Lily Bella Fabrics will refund to you whatever amount the insurance company refunds to us. Shipping charges are never refundable when a package is insured--only the value of the items is eligible for a refund.

We do refund significant shipping overages. Please send us a friendly convo if you believe there may have been a shipping overage from your order that we missed.

International orders are welcome. As per United States Federal Law, we are not able to mark international packages as gifts, nor are we able to misrepresent their declared value. Please note that some countries charge fees/duties/taxes on packages imported from the USA. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Unfortunately, we no longer offer shipment to a number of countries, due to credit card fraud. We know it's not fair to the honest people who live in those high fraud areas, but it's what we have to do to protect our business. If you live in one of these regions, your order will be canceled. Exceptions may be made for customers who have an established buying relationship with our shop, or customers with significant positive Etsy feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Also due to fraud, Express Mail is no longer offered for international customers, unless you have an established buying relationship with our shop, or have significant positive Etsy feedback. Express mail for US customers will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that we do not offer discounts for larger orders. Most everything in our shop is priced significantly under the retail price, so we really cannot bring our prices lower. For larger orders, we ship in flat rate envelopes/boxes, and we charge you the retail price of the envelope/box, rather than charging a set shipping fee per yard and keeping the shipping overage. In most cases, this shipping discount will be a significant savings for larger orders.

If you order more than one cut of the same fabric (for example, you purchase a 1 yard cut and a 1/2 yard cut), the fabric will be cut as one continuous piece unless you request otherwise. If you order a fat quarter and a yardage cut of the same fabric (for example, you purchase a 1 yard cut and 1 FQ), the fabrics will be cut separately unless you request otherwise.

Additional cuts: If you order a larger cut of fabric and would like us to cut it into two or more pieces, that is a service that we offer. The first cut is free (for example, cutting your large piece of fabric in half), and each additional cut is 50 cents. If you'd like this done, please message us beforehand so I can set you up a custom listing including the additional cuts. Leaving a note at checkout regarding the additional cuts will necessitate an additional payment for the cutting, as well as a 35 cent processing fee. We do not offer free dividing cuts for pieces of fabric 1 yard and under.
