This is my 2nd order from lilyogini and I am SO HAPPY with her work! Love, Love, LOVE my gloves and headbands. I've given her name to several people and I just know I'll be ordering again. Thank you!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my headband! It's very well made, very pretty and the customer service was beyond compare. I actually ordered two more headbands and two sets of fingerless gloves after receiving my first headband. Love everything about it!

About

Perpetual Motion

I have a problem. But I think it's a good problem. It's rare that I can sit and do nothing but watch TV. My husband, on the other hand, loves his TV. One evening, sitting on the couch feeling especially unproductive, I remembered that I used to knit and crochet as a kid - my Italian seamstress grandmother taught me how when I was 9 years old. So I decided that I could make some knitted things while still spending time with my husband in the evenings.

Some things turned into many things. There's only so many scarves, hats, afghans, etc, you can make for yourself before it gets absurd (especially living in southern California). And that's basically how my shop started.

I love to build things with my hands or my brain. My day job, I build software applications in Java. As a kid, I used to make all kinds of wacky things (when I was 4, I made some pretty intricate aluminum foil shoes lined with toilet paper - my parents were impressed! Ha!). When I was 11 months old, one of my favorite things to do, apparently, was screw and unscrew caps from two liter bottles of soda. My fingers are always moving!

When I'm not writing code or knitting, I am taking care of our newly hatched baby girl (December 2013), running marathons, cooking, practicing yoga, playing guitar/piano, or renovating something in my house.

More About Lilyogini Knits...

My shop name came about because I taught yoga for 6 years and spent 2 years studying Ashtanga at Tim Miller's studio in Carlsbad.

The items in my shop are all handmade by me, and the designs/patterns are also my own. I do custom orders as well, and can usually remake anything in my sold items should you see something that strikes your fancy.

I hope you enjoy my shop and thanks for reading!

Shop policies

Last updated on September 25, 2013
Hello! Lilyogini Knits is my little shop of random crochet & knitted items made from patterns I've designed.

Things to note:

1. For those allergic to canines: I have two Miniature Australian Shepherds. I take precautions to not allow them near items/supplies during and after construction, however, it's something to be aware of if this is a concern for you as a buyer.

2. I sometimes re-use cardboard boxes for shipping - I don't ever use food boxes, only shipping boxes.

3. I ship USPS first class mail, unless priority mail ends up being significantly quicker and is a reasonable cost comparative to first class and what I have collected in shipping charges for the item(s).

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept payments through PayPal & Etsy Checkout. Payment must be received within 48 hours of purchase.
Shipping
Depending on the size/value of the item I will ship either USPS or UPS. Larger, more expensive items will go through UPS. Smaller items through USPS.

Items in stock will ship within 1-2 business days (unless I am away on vacation). Custom order items will depend on the complexity of said item (some designs take longer to make than others!).

Buyer is responsible for any customs tariffs/taxes due upon delivery for international shipments.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase through a sizable fault of construction or misrepresentation, please contact me.
