Absolutely fantastic. The perfect addition to my handcrafted coffee mug collection. AND (hopefully) a great gift for my current DM.

Two pleasant surprises awaited me wen I first handled my new tea mug. First was the feel - whatever glaze Lindsey uses feels almost soft to the touch; it was lovely. Second was the stamp detail - you can see a subtle almost woodgrain pattern in the Tea stamp which is just so cool. Absolutely thrilled to drink all my tea through this vessel from now on.

A gift for one of my best friends. She was having a rough time and I was glad to offer her a tangible sign of our enduring friendship. This piece is a lovely example of skill and passion. It means a lot to us both.

It may be the thing I leave to my future children but only on my death bed. Haha. I'd buy twelve of them if I could.

I purchased a Dragon Egg goblet and I absolutely adore it. I keep it on my desk and marvel at Lindsey's artistic expression and craftmanship. It now genuinely a treasured possession that I love to show to my friends and family. I also selected two mugs as birthday gifts for a pair of dear friends. They arrived well protected and far more quickly than I expected. They are also so beautiful that it was quite difficult for me to part with them, but I was also quite proud to be able to give something special to two people very close to my heart. Thank you for allowing me to do that, Lindsey.

Fabulous!! I would definitely order from Lindsey again! This was a Custom Order and from date of order to arrival was about 4 weeks. This is excellent turn around time for made to order ceramics. Arrived well packed and was shipped from California to Texas via USPS. Thanks So Much Lindsey!

This stein brings me so much joy! It keeps my coffee or tea nice and warm even when I forget about it. Bonus points for the large handle that allows you to warm your hands.

Using Reality to Create the Imaginary

My name is Lindsey M. Dillon, and I’m an award-winning Sacramento-based ceramic artist — and a life-long fan of fantasy, sci-fi, role playing games, creatures, history, and mythology.

Fueled by these fields, I infuse my work with a love of texture, a passion for the imaginary, and an appreciation of the power of story.

Everything I makes starts out as a lump of clay on the pottery wheel or work table, and each piece is made one-at-a-time, by hand, by me.

(No shadowy assistants mass-producing these in the background — just me and a lot of podcasts.)

In addition to creating lines of geekware mugs inspired by pop culture and anime (showcased here on Etsy and at conventions), I have partnered with local businesses to make unique sets of serveware, and displayed my figurative creature sculptures in local galleries.
