5 out of 5 starsSo in love! All of Linnea's designs are so beautiful, you cannot go wrong!. ...I literally could not decide because they were all so awesome and when I inevitably changed my mind immediately after placing the order, Linnea was so sweet and accommodating, and I could not be happier. I gifted the nighttime pollinators set to my husband and he is so excited! Beautifully crafted, safely wrapped, and quick to ship.

centering the clay
From a young age I have loved looking at the natural world around me and noticing the tiny details,
such as the beautiful intricacies of insects and their physical influence on nature.Through my drawings I want to celebrate and bring attention to these tiny creatures and the large impact they have on our world. All of my work is one of a kind, using wheel throwing and hand building methods that I often embellish with my own illustrations.
I have always loved drawing, and I started out my degree in art thinking I would be a drawing major. In my sophomore year of university I stumbled upon ceramics through an intro to wheel throwing class at Funke Fired Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. Almost immediately, I fell in love with clay and the process of shaping objects from the same earth as the insects and microorganisms I have enjoyed observing, call home. I soon found that combining my drawings with my hand made ceramic pieces provided a satisfying marriage between my passion for creating 2D and 3D art. My goal is to create pieces that provide a functional yet whimsical impact on people’s everyday lives. They then become a part of intimate moments drinking coffee, eating meals, or placing them out on display in special places within people’s homes.
