When it finally arrived nearly four weeks later, it was just what I expected from this IGMA artisan: a chips and mussels plate, a wooden basket of vegetables, and an exquisite tiered tray of seafood that has been a show-and-tell to my mini friends ever since it arrived!

5 out of 5 starsThe onions in a sack were one of the most incredible pieces of art that I have been privileged to put in my doll house. My doll house is museum quality and these onions were like somebody took a shrinking ray to them they were so realistic, even to the point that some of the onions had sprouted and found their way out of the bottom of the burlap bag. This artist is not only creative but does not take any shortcuts.

Realistic & intricate, one of a kind 12th scale foods
Having made myself a 12th scale cake shop, I found it exceptionally difficult to find cakes to fill it with. The internet was in its infancy then & the only pieces I could find seemed to be cheap plastic imports, mostly out of scale...so I decided to make my own! That was over 15 years ago & I love what I do, probably because I love food! I always try & have the "real" thing in front of me to work from & will often make a real version of the dish/cake I am working on in miniature!
