5 out of 5 starsBeautiful and original peice of work. Hung on my apartment door using adhesive velcro instead of the screws. Light enough to stay securely. I love it

5 out of 5 starsMy husband put our house numbers up. He was very happy that the screws and washers were included. Now he’s having a mug of coffee to celebrate—in our new Lisa Orr mug. Thanks, Lisa, for some beautiful, colorful, quirky items.

5 out of 5 starsThese numbers are extremely beautiful and I love the large size so everyone can see them. We just had the front of our house completely remodeled and these were the crowning touch. The pop of turquoise was just what it needed. The only negative was one of the holes had to be drilled out to fit the screw. It was a tense few minutes while my bf did that! I would recommend Lisa check all the holes before shipping. We also put these in stucco so I hope the screws are long enough to keep holding. Offering a choice of lengths might be nice as they are so pretty and I couldn't find similar at the hardware store.

Assembling work in the studio....
Garden color for the table
For 37 years I have been professional potter and student of ceramics. I completed an MFA at the NYSCC at Alfred University in 1992 and later received grants including a Fulbright and a MAAA/NEA. My work is in numerous public and private collections including the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, and the permanent collection of WOCEF in Korea. Currently I teach, lecture and show nationally and internationally.
My artworks for the table often refer to traditional porcelain or restaurant whitewares, but with softer forms inspired by the playful and abundant qualities of Mexican earthenware. I invented my own production process after studying clay mold fragments in antiquated factories and museums. After forming pieces in molds, on the wheel, or both, I finish with stamps, slips, sprigs and multihued glazes. Though my colors can evoke a healthy garden in bloom, I aim for a strength of form that feels muscular and strong while showing fluidity. In this way I play both ends of the spectrum, from the dynamic and substantive to the detailed and dreamy--full of surprise. My artwork is best presented with a freshly prepared meal.
