About

I was born in the glorious North Yorkshire Moors and grew up amongst the heather, lapwings and peat. In brief magical moments, I paint.

Before having my babies I was a marketing manager and I was also a freelance mural painter, but when the gorgeous Arthur was born life changed. Arthur has complex needs due to brain damage when he was born, I am his main carer and I work my sewing around his and his sisters needs. My work is my therapy and I utterly adore it, need it, yearn for it. As my children grow and I have more time to play with it I plan to take over the world, if that’s OK with you?

Hi, I'm Marna.

I'm from the North East of England on top of the rambling hills & moors of North Yorkshire. It's where most of my inspiration comes from.

I've been a creator of many things for many years & this is a collection of what I'm up to now. I create embroidered artwork and illustrations using beautiful soft fabrics & textured threads on top of my own unique hand drawing often on location and finished in my cosy home studio.

Each item can never be fully replicated due to the nature of the product being entirely handmade so you will always have a very individual gift.
I use natural fibres as the main material for the pieces, linen, cotton and the like so they can vary very slightly in colour and texture as you would expect in a natural product. I aim to supply you with a high quality luxury item that is made with love using only the best materials.

You have made me feel special by choosing my work and so I want to make you equally special when recieving it. I encourage any conversations about a piece and always welcome feed back of any nature, it's all about spreading a bit of love.

Payment
I accept Pay Pal and all Major Credit Cards.

Payment is due at the time of order.

I will not be able to post any item until the payment has cleared. If no payment has been recieved within four days of the order being paced the item will be placed back on sale and your order will be cancelled.
Shipping
All items are first wrapped in tissue and finished with a ribbon and label. They are then placed in a heavy duty plastic bag or box which helps protect the fabric from the elements and is less likely to rip than paper packaging but is still lightweight enough to enable a swift passage to you.

ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIMES (excluding peak Xmas times): this is not for commissions that will be did used when finalising each order.

Within the UK, approx. 2-4 working days
Outside the UK, approx. 7-14 working days
(it may be a little longer at peak Xmas & Sale times).

Please make sure your Etsy & Paypal addresses are the same. If the addresses differ your purchase may go to an outdated address.

All items will be packaged and sent out within three working days of the payment clearing.
If placing an custom order a deadline needs to be agreed before payment made and this deadline for when it will be made will be met but I can not be resposible for acts of god, snow etc, postal strikes, customs delays. I can upgrade my normal postage to special delivery if nessessary but you will need to request this.

I normally post all items second class recorded delivery, so a signature will be needed. Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. If you are concerned about a special occassion it is always best to order early to avoid any sort of disappointment.

PLEASE NOTE that unless you upgrade your shipping to special delivery which then insures your parcels you will NOT be able to claim for lost or stolen packages through your mail systems.
I have tracking & proof of delivery on all parcels but can not claim for lost parcels myself, I am happy to give you any information you need to make a claim yourself. I can not take any responsibility for delivery once it has left my hands.
Refunds and Exchanges
Once a personalised order has been agreed and paid for it cannot be refunded or cancelled due to the work already being started and there is no way to re sell it.

If the item is damaged or faulty please return the item with in seven days and once recieved I will solve the issue by remaking the product or issueing a refund depending on your preference. If something is incorrect with the order, let me know asap and I'll fix it.

Returns will be accepted in the original packaging and delivery confirmation within 7 days of you receiving it, item must be in perfect unused condition. Please note that refunds will only be issued once the item as been returned to me in its original condition. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

There are no returns on custom made orders.

There are no returns on hair accessories because of hygiene issues, sorry.

Your order is personally handmade for you with the highest attention to detail craftsmanship and design and I want it to be a good experience and love for you to be happy with your purchase so if there is a problem please get in touch!

If you have any problems with any of my goods please let me immediately so I can rectify the situation without any ill will, as all feed back is important to me, it helps me provide the best possible service and this is my aim.

PLEASE NOTE: All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the made to order photos.

The main body of my work is custom orders and so I am very experienced in helping you with a special gift for a special person or occassion, and love working with your ideas and needs to make the perfect gift for you and your loved one.

I do not offer a trade option or wholesale however discounts are available on large orders.

These 'rules' are to protect both parties but if I feel that good customer service requires that I bend the rules a bit. I'm not afraid to do that at all.
