Our 4 Jack Daniels bottles turned out great over our bar! We love them and get compliments on them too! They put off a nice glow instead of just a down light.

About

About us...an idea is hatched!

Little Bird Lighting co. makes custom, vintage and upcycled lighting fixtures. We began in 2016 as the designs of Kate Hessefort were paired with the electrical expertise of Mike Redding who has been a union electrician since 2000 and the business knowledge of Naomi Redding. We like to have fun by bringing designs to life!

We first transformed an old railroad-style lantern into a light that can be plugged in, and the idea for Little Bird Lighting co. was hatched and quickly took flight. If you can imagine it, we can design and build it!

Frequently asked questions

Are these UL Listed?

All fixtures use only top quality UL (Underwriters Laboratories) listed electrical components. The complete pieces themselves are not UL listed. UL certification involves a lengthy test process, including testing (often to destruction) of identical samples. Since each fixture is one of a kind, this is obviously not possible. We do try to make all lamps in accordance with the UL best practices and standards, but you are solely responsible for determining that any lamp is suitable and safe for your intended use. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage(s) resulting from the use or misuse of any items sold.

What about installation?

Be smart! These custom fixtures require installation by a qualified professional. By purchasing from Little Bird Lighting co., you assume all liability and responsibility for the care, handling and installation of your new fixture.

A note about conditions of antiques and vintage items...

Please see photos for details so you'll know exactly what to expect. Because vintage glass insulators and antique wooden crates etc. have seen decades of use, they naturally reflect hints of hidden history. Thus each item may have individual character such as chips or scratches. Take time to examine the detailed pictures of the actual fixture you are bidding on.
