Inspired by nature, expressed through yarn

Little Bone Collector is a collection of beautiful crochet lace pieces, including jewellery, accessories and ornaments.

I’m inspired by the hidden beauty of found objects, especially natural materials like stone, shells, wood, feathers, and of course – bone. My passion is crochet and its power to soften and highlight the beauty of everyday and macabre objects.

Share in my inspiration & process on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest!

Since my mother taught me to crochet, it's been my medium of choice. Crochet is my tool & my passion, letting me build my own Cabinet of Curiosities and share it with the world through Little Bone Collector.

Australian GST: I don't currently charge GST. If you need a tax receipt that specifies this, just ask.
Australia Post is used for all purchases, unless otherwise organised.

Packaging: Affordable, minimal, secure, safe, re-used & recycled.

>> Allow 3 - 6 weeks for delivery, dependent on both Australia Post and your own postal system.

Your purchase will be sent via Airmail and doesn't include a tracking number, insurance or registered delivery unless you ask me for a separate quote.
- Registered delivery can be as low as $3.95 AUD extra if your items fit in an envelope.
- Tracking on overseas parcels will be between $20 - $50 AUD total.

If your country has strict quarantine or customs laws (eg. New Zealand), please research your country's regulations before purchasing a shell, bone, tooth or other animal by-product item.

- For jewellery items, I'm happy to sell to any country as the item is packaged and presented as costume jewellery, however you do take the risk that it will be inspected and confiscated by your own customs.

- For larger bones, I may only sell to particular countries that I know allow you to import these items. If I haven't listed your country and you believe there'll be no problem (or you have a permit), please don't hesitate to get in touch!

You may need to pay import taxes or duties, which you should check before purchasing anything online. These vary country to country and are the responsibility of the person receiving the package (you).

Unless I'm genuinely sending you a personal gift, I can't mark any purchase as a "gift" on the customs form.
Refunds and Exchanges
If a piece arrives to you broken, damaged, incomplete or clearly different to what was described or displayed on Etsy, you are more than welcome to a refund of your purchase and shipping costs, or to have any missing parts sent to you for free.

If you'd like a replacement item instead, I'll send it to you for free. (You only pay one set of shipping costs!)

Unless other consumer law applies (such as for EU buyers), I don't normally offer refunds in the case of changing your mind, ordering the wrong item or misreading the item description. However, if you're unhappy with your purchase, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll work with you to find the best solution.

The shipping Etsy calculates for multiple items will sometimes be more than my actual costs for postage and packaging. I'll automatically refund you the difference whenever it's over $2 AUD.

Frequently asked questions

Australian law & animal by-products

I only work with animal by-products from feral/livestock/domestic species, such as wild dog, pig, goat, cow, rabbit etc. The parts I use from these animals are legal to possess, process and sell, as well as to export without requiring a permit.

Although we do have industries producing kangaroo skins or emu oil (and these can be exported), the average person is not allowed to collect, possess, process or sell native animals or animal parts.
