I am a stay-at-home mum of 3 little 'uns who was a professional in a previous life! I have been sewing since I was 13 years old but it took a back seat to study and work for a long time...it is good to be able to focus on my artistic side again!
"Little Boozle" comes from my nan's nickname for me when I was a little girl. I was just starting out in this venture when she became ill so it seemed the perfect way to keep her memory close!
I have no set style to "Little Boozle" but want to have fun and explore. I have a huge stash of quality quilting cottons, vintage fabrics, reclaimed kimono materials and chenilles, laces and soooo many buttons, crocheted items etc. I have many amazing new vintage fabrics that I have to stop hoarding and be brave enough to cut up and sew...So we'll just have to see what takes shape as I potter! I guess I'll have to go with "eclectic" for now!
I believe in
-quality- both fabrics and workmanship. I don't cut corners and wont sell anything that isn't well constructed.

-versatility- hopefully most of my items can be worn for an extended time.

-individuality- I wont re-create any single piece.

Nearly all my new cottons are US quilting quality fabrics and my vintage fabrics are in good to (mostly) great condition- a lot are "old but new". There may be some imperfections that you may expect with reloved vintage fabrics (such as wash fade) but I will never use fabrics that have holes in them.
All items are made with overlocked/serged seams, topstitched as needed, have a sewn-in label and are tagged with care instructions.
I want to love making LB garments and I want you and your child to love wearing them!

Additional policies and FAQs
I have a very demanding young family who are my priority so I do not feel at the moment that I can offer custom orders that require a superprompt delivery! You can always ask but please don't be offended if I say no. I will not copy a garment that I have already made but if you like a style or particular fabric, then I can work around that. Most fabrics I purchase in small quantities or are one-off vintage purchases so are in limited supply. Please feel free to ask any questions!
