Erin Curet & Little Circles

I began quilling as a hobby in 2007 and soon became an obsessed paper roller. I spent all of my free time twirling paper strips and creating complicated works of paper mosaic art. During the day I spent my time styling hair - at night I led a double life as a secret artist. I showed my work nowhere and to no one. One day I had the idea to make myself a pair of earrings… out of paper. They were genius. Beautiful, unique and so light weight you could not even notice you were wearing them. These beauties I was brave enough to wear out and show off and to my great surprise, people loved them! I began selling them at my salon and on Etsy. They were such a hit that I quit my job to make them full time! The success of my jewelry gave me the confidence to show my art as well and I have had the great fortune of finding a very loyal fan base for it. My family and I spent more than a year traveling to art shows to present my art and jewelry. Back at my home studio in Northern Michigan, I am working hard to grow my offerings for both online and gallery showings. I have never been so busy, but I am having an incredible time.
