Announcement
All of our alpaca products are made in the USA by either us or our alpaca fiber co-op. Thank you for supporting our small family farm and keeping us in business, much love to you all! If you're ever in the Midwest, stop by for one of our Alpaca Beach Parties - follow us on Facebook or go to our website for Alpaca Beach Party dates. We'll be putting out the 2023 schedule soon. Plymouth Rock Roost B&B is just 5 minutes from our farm, there are a few hotels in Macomb, IL just 30 minutes away, and there are 3 campgrounds within 20-40 minutes of our farm. Take a mini vacation and come out, admission is free to all of our Alpaca Beach Parties! Please note, we are only open to the public when we have events.
Little Creek Alpacas is a small, family run fiber farm with a herd of 51 Suri and Huacaya alpacas. Our venture started in the spring of 2007, when we decided that we wanted to raise our children in a more serene, spiritual setting, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life.
My passion in the fiber arts is using my alpaca fiber to make alpaca batt blends. I'm not much of a spinner or a knitter, but I have a knack for mixing fibers on my drum carder in all sorts of variations and colors. I like to work with other fiber artists across the United States. Most of our yarns are hand-spun by fiber artists that I have come to know over the years. Each spinner has their own style, and it's fun for me to see the different yarns that are created from my batt blends by each spinner. I also utilize family run mills for mill spun yarn & roving. Each year, we send about one third of our fiber clip to the New England Alpaca Fiber Pool for socks, gloves, shoe inserts, and various other items that we can't produce ourselves. My mother, friend, and friend's mother help me knit our yarns into finished products such as hats, cowls, fingerless gloves, scarves, etc. These items are usually sold in person locally and don't make it to my online shop. I also make organic catnip balls, dryer balls, and felted "Peace Pals" with our alpaca wool by using needle felting and wet felting techniques. I plan on listing some of my felted items soon!
If you are interested in raising alpacas, we do sell alpacas from our herd-- both fiber animals and breeding stock. Please visit our website at www.littlecreekalpacas.com for information on our alpacas. Thank you.
All proceeds from sales go towards keeping our small family farm going. Thank you for your support!

5 out of 5 starsLove these socks. They are warm and not super thick like wool. Unfortunately the moths like them too so I am buying more.

5 out of 5 starsLove, love, love these socks!! And it is so awesome to be able to see/meet the alpacas on Little Creek's facebook page! These socks are a lifesaver, as they keep our feet warm, which we really need this winter, and are so comfortable and cozy. Can't wait to get out to Little Creek and meet the alpacas in person, hopefully soon :)

5 out of 5 starsMy feet are so happy! They're warm and comfortable; not at all bulky so my toes can wiggle away. Great quality, durable and toasty.
