Hello there, and welcome to my little art store! I am a UK based illustrator with a penchant for French Cinema, patent leather boots and forgotten, haunted literature. I also like to make things. Like art.

When I was a child I wanted to become a writer or an actress when I grew up. When I grew up, I wanted to become a child again! I also used to think that I was a small tree, a sycamore to be exact, which ended somewhat badly.

I grew up on a farm, surrounded by magnificent horses and shouty geese. I invented imaginary worlds which I never truly abandoned. They peek out, sometimes, from my pictures.

Then I went on to study a photography diploma, and then a fine art degree. It was fun, frustrating and very, very expensive.

I lead a very quiet life, and am content to just create, explore, stare at the rain, read and drink tea.

My influences include fairytales, dreams, Japanese dolls, botanical illustration, Jan Svankmajer, Matisse, Tove Jansson, trees, the supernatural, Kubrick, Angela Carter, Leonora Carrington, Jean Cocteau, Marc Chagall, Marie Louise Von Franz, autumn, rabbits and hares, biscuits and cake. And broccoli.
