About

I am a designer who left design to be an artist, then had a baby who got me excited about design again!

Little Goodall was created by artist and designer Molly Goodall in the fall of 2010. A stay at home mother at the time, Goodall was frustrated when her two year old son refused to wear the hoods on his coats. Searching for a creative solution, she designed and made the original Ferocious Felt Lion coat to inspire him to put his hood up in the cold. Friends commented, orders were placed, and Little Goodall was born! What began as a dining-room table based business (Molly's husband helped her cut coats when he came home from work each day) has grown to include additional help from family members (Molly's Dad creates her line sheets, her husband now assists with shipping) and skilled local craftspeople in the community.

  • Wayne Goodall

    Husband/ Shipping Coordinator

Each and every day my husband delivers the orders I have packed to the post office. During rush times he also helps with packing and customs forms on International shipments. Most importantly, he is my cheerleader and moral support!

  • Carter

    Model, Product Tester

Carter is our only child and the inspiration for Little Goodall. He road tests all new products for comfort and durability and models coats for photos. He is easily bribed with Legos. We dread the day when no longer wants to wear animal coats!

Production partners

  • Garment Sewing Services

    Garland, TX

Family owned and operated for over 20 years, this husband and wife lead a team of the most skilled sewers and finishers in the United States. Lifelong garment industry professionals, they make sure each garment is assembled with precision and attention to detail.

  • Custom Embroidery Shop

    Fairview, TX

This great Mom and Pop embroidery shop is in a tiny house I drive by each day on the way to my son's school. They digitize my drawings and embroider them on my fabric, which I then hand-cut into shape before the garments are assembled.

  • Pattern Grader

    Dallas, TX

A fantastic local grading and marking bureau which has been serving the sewn goods industry since 1992. Their studio prints my fabric content labels, grades my patterns into standard sizes, and combines them into markers to prevent fabric waste.
