Love these bunny vases! I use mine for air plants. This is my second order as I had to keep the first two for myself!

About

Dreaming one pound of clay at a time

I took my first ceramics class in 2010 as a college student, and I have been a student ever since! I stretch myself artistically like I stretch clay, spending long hours at the studio perfecting skills and designs. I take the ideas that develop in my mind and translate it into the clay in my hands.

The name of my business, Studio Giverny, is inspired by Monet’s home and garden in Giverny, France. I visited Giverny in 2013 and marveled at how Monet had engineered the lily pond and flower beds that inspired his paintings. I started to imagine how I could create vessels that interacted and inspire others.

As a girl who grew up in Hong Kong, I never imagined that I would be a potter. To be an artist was just a dream. It has been through God’s graciousness and my husband’s support that I have been able to pursue my passion. So far all my dreams have come true so I’ll keep on dreaming!

For more than 30 years, the Bucktown Arts Fest has been a neighborhood tradition and one of Chicago’s premier arts festivals, showcasing close to 200 juried artists who work in oil, watercolor, photography, textile, sculpture, jewelry, and so much more. Attracting more than 30,000 visitors annually, we also focus on making art free to the public—hosting two music stages, dancers, poets and performers, arts activities for kids, food trucks (as of 2015!), and craft beer and sangria.
