Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you source your items?
Our vintage items are sourced from all over the place! Mainly from around Victoria Australia.

Have the vintage items been washed?
All vintage items are handwashed using environmentally friendly detergent derived from plant extracts. They are then hung out on the line to dry before being given a light iron.

What condition are yor vintage items in?
The best condition that can be expected for their age. I will not list anything in my store that I wouldn't be happy to dress my own children in. If a vintage find is too damaged I just don't buy it. Any minor damage such as stitching that may have come loose will be repaired by me & I will note what has been done in the listing. Sometimes little embellishments such as ribbons may have frayed with age/wear. I will leave these as is, but if you would like me to replace them for you before the item is sent out just let me know, I'm more than happy to do that for you!

What about sizes?
Where possible I will note the items size in the listing. But sometimes these vintage beauties don't have tags(some are handmade!) or the information on the tags have faded. Keep in mind as well that many vintage pieces run on the small side. I will always include measurements in the item listing. If you require any further measurements please don't hesitate to email me.

When you talk about your little business you refer to 'I' & 'we' alot. Who are 'I' & 'we'?
'I' am Natasha, a 30 year old mother of two little girls - 4 year old Piper & 2 year old Lily. The 'we' are me & my girls(& sometimes my husband!)! We do most things together & they both love helping me source our vintage clothing. And let me tell you, they both have a great eye for it!

What about your handmade items?
All made by me. Where possible I use vintage, reclaimed or end of run fabric. Due to the nature of materials I use, a lot of the items are 'one offs' or made in limited quantities.

Why are some of your items branded as 'Piper+Lily'?
I have another little business called 'Piper+Lily' where I sell handmade items. This business has been established for about a year & a half. Over time my plan for my business has started to change & evolve & it is starting to evolve into little love : home of the small! So I will be selling some of my 'Piper+Lily' branded products through this store until my existing stocks are sold out.

Do you wholesale any of your handmade items?
Yes I do! If you are interested in purchasing my handmade items at wholesale prices for your store please don't hesitate to contact me for my Terms & Product Availabiliy List.
