Little Minnow Designs
Hello there! We are Lizzi and Mary of Little Minnow Designs. Originally from the great northern state of Minnesota, somehow we have found ourselves living in Austin, Texas. Pretty lucky we think. We are sisters, and we love hand-drawn typography, breakfast tacos, pretty fabric, tea, and screen-printing.
We have been DIY girls as long as we can remember. Our mom played a big part in this as she was always helping us brainstorm new projects and providing supplies for our endeavors. Growing up we used to sew our own scrunchies, purses, and add embellishments to our jeans. It was cool back then, we swear. Everything just kind of evolved from there. We are always sketching, brainstorming new products and designs, researching our craft. Although we both studied art in college (Lizzi in Advertising, Mary in Fine Arts), printmaking has mainly been a self-taught adventure.
We are constantly inspired by art in the world around us. We don’t go anywhere without a little notebook to jot down ideas. We love textures, patterns, type and colors. Throughout the day we shoot emails back and forth of things love, things we want to do and make, ideas we have, and pictures of things we are working on. We are motivated to get our art, our little voice, out there in the world. We get so excited when we get to the final product, and then we get to share it with others. Every sale is like a little compliment, and who doesn’t like compliments?
The past few years have been such a great learning experience. We feel so lucky to be able to work for ourselves, to do something that we love, and to be able to share our art with the world.

Mary manages the day-to-day Little Minnow operations - from emails and errands to sewing and shipping, and everything in-between. And when its all done, she finds time to get creative coming up with new designs and products.
Myra is the studio assistant extraordinaire. In addition to processing online orders, Myra also helps with production - cutting fabric, heat-setting, sewing and packaging - she is a vital part of the team!

Note: If the item is being shipped to an address in Texas, 8.25% sales tax will be added to your order.
Orders Shipping to Canada:
In the past few months we have noticed that it is taking slightly longer than normal for orders to arrive in Canada. In some rare cases it has taken up to a month. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to track the package once it crosses the border. We appreciate your patience and still love your country.
All items are carefully packaged and shipped via USPS. Smaller prints are packaged in flat document mailers while larger prints are shipped in a mailing tube. (We just don’t want it to arrive at your doorstep with bumps or bruises!) We vow to try and send all items out within 3-5 business days (usually faster) after payment is received. Custom orders may take a little longer.
Domestic: Most orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail, which takes about 2-5 days. Larger orders will travel Priority Mail. Please let us know if you are interested in upgrading to Priority or Express Mail.
International: Orders are shipped USPS First Class International Mail, which takes about 5-14 days. You may also upgrade to Priority or Express Mail if you wish, just contact us and we will figure out the charge. As the buyer, you are responsible for any customs charges. Please let us know if you would like to insure your order.
All items ship to the address entered at the checkout unless discussed otherwise.
Sending it as a gift? Sure we can mail it to them instead! Let us know in the notes to buyer section and we will make sure to exclude a packing slip (and are happy to add a note!)

Refunds and Exchanges
Our return/exchange policy is as follows:
Returned/Exchanged items must be in the same condition as when they were sent to you. We do not accept items that have been worn or damaged. Once we receive your return/exchange your card will be credited for the merchandise amount or we will send out the replacement item.
We will do what we can to make sure your purchase gets to you in one pretty piece. However, if your order is damaged or lost in transit, we will issue refunds or replacements if you notify us within two weeks.
We do not cover shipping costs for returning an item.
Custom orders are final sales unless the product was damaged en route.
