How it Began

Last Eid, my daughter kept asking for a doll that looked like her. We had already gone through the "fashion doll in hijab" phase and remained unhappy with the generic feel of it. In a fit of exasperation, I quickly painted a couple wooden pegs to match my daughters favorite outfits (including her hijab). It was a hit! Until my son started asking why he couldn't have some boy dolls that looked like him as well? The only answer I had for him was, of course! And so began our journey of creating little Muslim doll families. All my children, from toddler to pre-teen, love them.

The simplistic nature of the dolls allows for the childrens creativity to really shine! In our home, Little Muslim Dolls go from praying in jamaat together to the back of a toy tractor digging though the back yard and back inside little doll houses.

I sincerely hope your family loves them as much as we do!
