This trio of vessels and air plants is absolutely beautiful: Well-crafted and and aesthetically pleasing. The maker/vender was a delight to work with as well. Will definitely order more items from Janelle!

This arrived in the mail promptly and had great packaging so the delicate plant didn't get damaged in transit. Would order from here again!

About

The Lady

Janelle Gramling is a self-taught artist living and working in Milwaukee, WI.

In 2005, she launched her label, Little Ocean, a romantic line of jewelry and women's and children's clothing hand-made with vintage and reclaimed materials. Also in 2005, in collaboration with other local artists and fashion designers, she opened a designer co-op and boutique in Milwaukee named Fasten. She managed and operated Fasten until 2009.

Janelle has recently dropped her Little Ocean moniker and is working toward a body of work as an artist exploring several mediums, while still creating wearables. In the fall of 2012, under the mentorship of her talented Mother-in-Law, Janelle picked up ceramics. Currently, her two biggest creative passions are nurturing her young relationship with clay through experimenting with small hand-built pots and jewelry peices, and hand-dyeing and discharging natural fibers with indigo and other dyes using shibori fold-and-bind techniques.

Shipping
Made To Order
Most items in the shop right now are made-to-order. Once I have your payment and size info, it will take 5-10 days before shipment of made-to-order items. So domestic customers can expect to receive their package within 2 weeks of payment. If you need your item sooner, just send me a message, I'm happy to try and work it out.

Ready To Ship
If an item is already made, it will say "ready to ship" in the listing. Once the item is paid for, it will go to the PO the next business day.

Method
I ship USPS first class. Insurance and confirmation purchased for orders over $50. Send me a message if you want to upgrade.

International
Sometimes shipping is a lot less expensive to some countries and I give a refund for the difference. Sometimes there is a customs fee payable on delivery. Sorry, I cannot foresee or be responsible for those charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
I accept returns on a case by case basis. Please send me a message if you are unhappy with your order for any reason, and I'll see what I can do.

Sizing & Measurements

Here is the general sizing that I use;

X-Small (US size 2)
Bust 32-33 inches
Waist 24-24.5 inches
Hips 34-35 inches

Small (US size 4)
Bust 33.5-34 inches
Waist 25-25.5 inches
Hips 35.5-36 inches

Small/Medium (US size 6-8)
Bust 34.5-36 inches
Waist 26-27.5 inches
Hips 36.5-38.5 inches

Medium (US size 10)
Bust 36.5-37 inches
Waist 28-29 inches
Hips 39-39.5 inches

Large (US size 12-14)
Bust 37.5-40 inches
Waist 29.5-31 inches
Hips 40-42 inches

X-Large (US size 16)
Bust 40.5-41.5 inches
Waist 31.5-32.5 inches
Hips 42.5-43.5 inches

If an item is made to order in your size, I'll let you know in it's listing. Just tell me XS, SM, MED, Lg, or XL in the "notes to seller" while checking out. Or, if the listing suggests you give me measurements, please provide your bust, waist, hips, and height. Use a tape measurer to wrap yourself around the fullest part of your bust and hips and the smallest part of your waist usually about 2" above your belly button. Always keep the tape parallel to the floor. Your "Low Waist" is the measurement around the part of the waist where you'd like to wear a bottom garment. For instance, if you usually wear your skirts just under the belly button and you're ordering a skirt (that is not specifically designed to be high-waisted), please provide that measurement as well as your hip.

Send me a convo if you have any questions!
