Announcement   Thanks for dropping by my little creative corner of the world! I opened LittleOrangeTent in late 2017 to share my love of the outdoor realm and the myriad creatures depending on it.

I'm a conservationARTist, naturalist, and Northwest native living and making art in the mountains, and as one of those creatures wholly dependent on nature, and perpetually inspired by and connected to wild places, a portion of all sales in my shop go back to ongoing Northwest, wilderness, and oceanic conservation efforts.

About

Making art for trails. I've always liked the sound of that.

Hi, I'm Kerri (Anne). Welcome to my littler corner of the Etsy realm.

I'm a Northwest native making art from the mountains of central Idaho, where I live, write, direct trail running races, and co-manage a non-profit for trails with my equally adventurous/adept-at-multitasking husband.

Little Orange Tent is a heartfelt homage to the first tent I ever owned, and to the fact that my husband and I spent a lot of time in that little orange tent for multiple summers after we first met. In 2012 it was inside that little orange tent, in a field next to a herd of bedded-down elk, that we dreamed up our trail-centric nonprofit—www.EndlessTrails.us—and I dreamed of making a life spent writing and making art a full-time reality.

It's been all sorts of adventures and sketchbooks and forward momentum since then, and after opening LittleOrangeTent.etsy.com in the fall of 2017 as a home for my hand-drawn art inspired by beloved wild places and sacred outdoor spaces, I’m perpetually psyched and grateful to be sharing my art with people from all over the world—and learning something new every day along the way.

In my shop you'll likely find a little bit of everything, from original watercolor and acrylic paintings inspired by the natural world to sustainably-sourced prints, postcards, stickers, magnets, and other goodies made from my hand-drawn art.

All of my art is hand-drawn/painted, and inspired by my favorite wild places, my favorite books about wild places, and by the amazing species that inhabit this big and beautiful planet—from the forests to the grasslands to the mountains to the oceans.

A portion of each sale in my shop will be given back to Northwest trails and ongoing conservation efforts for wild places (both on land and in the ocean).

Thanks for stopping by my little creative corner of the world!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, if you’d like to collaborate, or if you want me to make you something special! I love custom orders, and am currently open for commissions.
