Additional policies and FAQs
Thank you for your interest in our clip art products!

With purchase (or download of free products), buyers are entitled to use our
clip art for personal projects as well as small-scale distributed / commercial
projects (with some limitations and requirements).

We create our clip art specifically for teachers making resources to sell on
Teachers Pay Teachers, and as such, our clip art is permitted to be used on
most types of educational products teacher-sellers create for the site. Please
see the Acceptable Distributed Uses section of the TOU to see some products
we specifically do not allow.

If you would like further clarification about our terms of use, or just have a
general question about our clip art, please feel free to send us a Q&A on TPT,
a convo.

By using Little Red’s clip art, you agree to the following terms:

PERSONAL PROJECTS are those which will be shared only within your own
home, classroom, or club. They are not uploaded to the internet to share.
They are not distributed to the public. You are free to make almost anything
you’d like with the clip art if it is for a personal project.

DISTRIBUTED PROJECTS are those which are sold and/or shared with a
wide audience. Freebies that are shared on the internet are distributed
projects. There are some limitations on distributed projects and some
requirements when using the clip art which are outlined below.

The purchase of clip art does not grant the buyer any copyrights.

The content remains the property of Little Red’s Schoolhouse aka Little Red's Clip Art.

The graphics are not to be sold as-is (ie, as collage sheet, sticker sheet, clip
art, reformatted into a pattern, etc.), resold, copied and claimed as your
own, altered, nor used to create derivative works.

Clip art is not to be recolored. Black and white clip art is not to be digitally
colored (unless for personal use).

The digital files are not to be resold, distributed, gifted, shared, traded.
They are for the use of the individual, original downloader only unless
multiple licenses are purchased.

With purchase you are granted a limited commercial license: you are free to
use the images for small-scale commercial/distributed projects – things which
one would call ‘homemade’/’handmade’. Nothing you intend to have
mass-produced or published. No projects you have been hired to create.

You may not upload designs featuring our clip art to on-demand printing
services such as Zazzle, Spoonflower, Vista Print, and the like,
unless they are kept private and used strictly for personal projects.

DISTRIBUTED PROJECTS: When making printables, our clip art must be
used only as part of a larger project/design with significant content,
written information, and other graphical elements. The clip art should
complement your original ideas and not be the crux of the product.
Projects which do not include significant content with the clip art are
considered to be reselling/ redistributing our clip art and creators will
be asked to remove or alter the product.

When making digital items the graphics must be protected from extraction
by third parties. This may mean locking your pdfs, saving your files as jpgs
before distribution or flattening your artwork before distributing it as a
digital file. Google “secure artwork Teachers Pay Teachers” for good advice
on how to protect the clip art.

A text credit is required on/in all distributed project uses.
In the case of documents, you do not need to provide credit to us on every
page where our clip art appears. Most people have a single page within their
files where they list all of their credits to resource providers, and this way
of crediting is fine with us.

We have a few names that you can use to credit us within your projects.
To credit us on Etsy, our name is Little Red’s Clip Art. On TPT, we’re known
either as Little Red’s Schoolhouse or LittleRed. We appreciate links to our
shops where you leave credit, but it’s not a requirement.

An ID graphic for our shops is included in the download of every clip art set.
We don’t require you to use it.
