Announcement   I was so excited when our lunch bags were featured in "Best Kids Lunch Boxes" on Parenting.com. These little bags that quickly convert into place mats also make the perfect gift bag. What goodies will you stuff yours with?

Here at Little Sapling I design and sew everything myself. I especially love working with natural fibers. All products are machine stitched and serged with great attention to quality and detail. You can be sure you are getting a professional handmade product when you shop at Little Sapling.

Enjoy your visit and thanks for stopping by,
Betsy

About

I love making things and I always have.

Growing up my mother hated using a sewing machine the way most people hate being stuck in traffic. She always said she never knew where I got my love of sewing, crafting and making art.

This is where I need to mention my mother's sister, Aunt Peggy. Childhood visits with Peg usually meant doing little projects with needles, thread, fabric or yarn. I can remember, when I was about twelve, a weekend visit to Aunt Peggy's that included a trip to the fabric store, picking out a pattern and being permitted to use her sturdy Singer. The end result was a pair of shorts in an "Austalia" print that even featured kangaroos. I wore those shorts until I could not wear them anymore. While my mother has always loved and appreciated all of the things I make, I am certain that she is just as baffled today by my desire to spend countless hours and days working with needle and thread as she was back then.

After growing up on the East Coast outside of Philadelphia and spending a decade when my children were very little on the West Coast in the Pacific Northwest, I now live with my family in Rural Colorado. Clearly I still love to make things. Here in my Etsy shop you will find children's lunch bags, baby towels and blankets and other hand made goods for babies and children, and adults who are children at heart.

Thank you so much for stopping in and reading a little bit of my story.

My name is Betsy. I grew up on the East Coast, spent a decade on the West Coast, and now live in rural Colorado. I have always been making things, selling them at fairs, markets and in little shops. Now, I love selling here on Etsy, too.

Payment
I accept Paypal for all transactions. My shop also accepts credit cards. If payment is not completed and I have not heard from you within three days of purchase I will consider it a canceled transaction. If you have a special situation just keep in contact with me so I don't re-list it.
Shipping
Your item usually ships 2 to 5 days after your payment has been made. (If you use a PayPal e-check then I must wait for payment to clear before shipping. This should take about 4 days.) If, for any reason, I will be away from the shop for any length of time you will see it posted in a shop announcement.

I use USPS Parcel Post. Each item is shipped in a mailing envelope or box (depending on the size of your order). Each item is also in it's own plastic bag, to keep it clean and safe during shipping.

Let me know if you need an item lickety split! We can probably make speedy shipping arrangements for a little extra charge.
Refunds and Exchanges
I hope that you are thrilled with your purchase but do not hesitate to contact me if there is any reason you are not. Items can be returned for credit in my littlesapling shop on Etsy. I do not do cash refunds and shipping charges will generally not be refunded.
