Announcement   Wildlife jewellery inspired by nature and the plants and creatures in my wildlife garden. My jewellery is a gift that gives back - all helping to save our declining wild hedgehogs.

Little Silver Hedgehog jewellery is handmade by me using recycled silver in my small studio in historic York. My collection features pendants, earrings, keyrings, cufflinks and bracelets.

My designs are inspired by british wildlife and the plants and flowers in my garden. I use silver, glass beads, pearls, Swarovski crystals and real birthstone gemstones in my designs to create a unique collection of jewellery.

My jewellery is also a gift that gives back. A minimum of 10% of the proceeds support my work caring for sick and injured wild hedgehogs and raising awareness of how people can help our declining hedgehog populations.

My silver jewellery is eco-friendly and is ready to give as a gift or to receive as a special treat for yourself. It is presented in a gift boxed tied with pretty ribbon and comes with information about helping hedgehogs. It makes a perfect present for anyone who loves nature and wildlife.

If you would like something really special just for you, I can make many of my designs in different shapes, colours and sizes. I'd love to work with you to create something truly unique.

About

Video summary: Nature jewellery inspired by wildlife helping to save our wild hedgehogs.

Silver jewellery that is wild at heart

I've always been creative and have made crafts for as long as I can remember. I'm inspired by my great love of wildlife and the outdoors - windswept beaches, wild flowers, gardening and the seashore.

I use my silversmithing skills to create unique silver jewellery inspired by nature. Many of my pieces feature falling leaves, real leaf prints, flowers and natural gemstones. My designs also feature British wildlife including owls, foxes and hedgehogs. I love cats (I've got two rescue boys) and paw print and cat designs feature too!

My jewellery is also a gift that gives back. Since 2012, I have been running a hedgehog hospital caring for sick and injured wild European hedgehogs. Hedgehogs are declining here in the UK at a rapid rate. My hospital is entirely self-funded and the jewellery helps to raise vital funds as well as combining my two passions of wildlife and making crafts. It also helps to spread the word about helping hedgehogs - the jewellery attracts much attention and is a great talking point.

I care for the hedgehogs until they are well enough to return to the wild. I've helped over 450 back to the wild so far. With your support, I can help even more.

I hope you will think that my jewellery is beautiful on its own merits but that you will fall in love with the fact that it also helps my work to rescue hedgehogs. It really is a gift that gives back.

Everything is handmade by me including being hand sanded and polished. I use recycled silver and my jewellery is presented in a beautiful gift box tied with ribbon so it is ready to give as a gift or to treasure for yourself.

I hope you will take a look around, find something special and take heart in the fact that your purchase also helps a wild creature to go back where it belongs.

You can see how your purchase helps by following my hedgehog stories on facebook - @littlesilverhedgehog.

I love creating personalised designs so if you would like something special made just for you, please get in touch.

Love from Emma and the hedgehogs
