Frequently asked questions
Which shipping service will my order be sent with?
UK ONLY (DOMESTIC)
Most items are sent with Royal Mail's 2nd Class postage service as standard, although some items may be sent using a Signed or Tracked service instead. Please check the information in the listing description for details.
There are optional upgrades available at the checkout for either 1st Class or Signed/Tracked, but we may also apply an upgrade at our discretion for multi-item orders where your total exceeds our threshold for standard shipping.
Please note that upgrades apply to the shipping method only and they will NOT shorten or change the set processing times for your item.
Please also be aware that package weights vary depending on the number of items purchased and we apply an average postage cost for your item.
How long is the order processing/turnaround time?
The order processing time usually involves the production time needed to receive, create, proof (if required), edit, print and then package your order. Your order joins our production queue once your details have been confirmed and orders are worked on by date received.
How quickly your item can be dispatched can depend on the type of item ordered, the production method used and how many other orders are ahead of yours in the production queue. As a guide, our current times are:
Non-personalised items/quicker edit items: 1 week
Longer edit items/items cut to size: 2 weeks
Your order will always ship by it's expected dispatch date shown on your order receipt (check your Etsy purchases section or order confirmation email).
How long is the shipping time?
Our shipping estimates are based on your chosen service & your location, and they fit with the minimum estimates based on Royal Mail's recommendations. Most mail will reach you within this time but unfortunately it cannot be guaranteed as there can be unexpected delays.
For international orders, Royal Mail's recommendations also do not account for additional time needed due to customs inspections. As per our shop policies, we are not responsible for any delays due to customs and buyers are also responsible for all customs charges.
As a guide, our current estimates are:
1st Class standard: 1-5 business days
1st Signed or Tracked 24: 1-3 business days
2nd Class standard: 2-7 business days
2nd Signed or Tracked 48: 2-5 business days
Do you offer gift wrapping and how is my order usually packaged?
Sorry, we do not offer gift wrapping on our stationery.
Labels & stickers will usually be packaged flat and most of our items are sent as large letter post. Other items available will be wrapped in a similar style, again depending on size, and items that are not fully flat will usually be sent in a rigid mailer or postage box. A3 items will be shipped as a small parcel.
We aim to be as eco-friendly as possible with our packaging and products, so we avoid single use plastic wherever possible. This means your items will be wrapped in a paper bag or biodegradable sleeve rather than a plastic cello bag.
What happens with personalisation and proofs for my order?
Please provide your details at checkout. Personalisation will either match the listing style or use font/colour choice boards for your reference. You can also upload images needed via email: littlestickerdoodles@gmail.com .
A proof is usually provided so that you have a chance to preview your order with your own details. Just let us know prior to the print stage if you require any amendments, as we're happy to edit for you. If no response is received regarding any changes, it will be assumed that you are happy with a standard version of this item with your own details added.
If additional information is required to create a proof and it is not provided by you, then we may be unable to process your order further & may need to cancel.
Will you want to use our stationery for promotional photography?
Yes, possibly, but this often only applies to business stationery. If personal stationery is occasionally used, then please be assured that no contact details will ever be shown.
We are most likely to take photographs of your finished business stationery for our promotional photography pictures, which can help to promote your own product also. As with personal stationery, your privacy is important to us, so these images are likely to include your business images/info but will never show your address/telephone details.
If you would prefer that your stationery is not used in our promotional photography, then please do let us know via Etsy conversations by your order dispatch date.
What happens if a return or refund is needed?
If you've changed your mind about needing your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to request a return/refund. You will then have a further 14 days to return your item to us.
Items must be received back in an 'as new' condition, so please ensure this is packaged to avoid damage during shipping (re-use the same packaging if possible). Return shipping costs must be covered by you and we recommend using a tracked shipping method to confirm delivery.
As per our shop and UK policies, personalised items are not eligible for a refund (unless the fault is ours, when we will cover the return shipping also). Therefore, please check any personalisation notes carefully before submitting your order or giving your approval of a proof.
