Hi, all! My name is Olivia and I'm so glad you're here! I am from an 8th generation family farm in Ohio, but at the age of 25 I took off to live in an RV with husband (and 2 rescue pups) as a travel nurse. While I have always been a creative, my inspirations have only sky-rocketed since visiting many of the vast landscapes in the USA. We've had the blessing of living in NM, AZ, OR, and WA so far! I find inspiration through my hobbies of hiking and adventure photography. The main lesson I've learned through this adventurous lifestyle is- only when we purposefully fuel our internal sense of wander can we then live the life we were designed.

The phase 'wandering roots' is a bit of mission of mine. 'Wandering Roots' to me, is pushing the status quo of "home" being associated with permanence- of any kind. Instead, I want "home" to be a constantly evolving term that differs for all of us. "Home" is our own pulling- that internal gut feeling in our hearts that happens when we allow our unique passions, hobbies, creativities, and sense of comfort/belonging guide our path. "Home" is not only allowed to change, but expected. "Home" is the beauty that results when we not only lean into change, but accept and welcome it. "Home" is fluid, just as humans are. Parts of us are meant to evaporate- in search to find our own source of water (which, quite literally, is whatever we feel fueled by). All we really need to do to find our own unique "home" is to stop thinking, stop questioning and simply allow our roots to wander.

For me, "home" is traveling. There's some kind of fire inside me that is ignited when I am able to lay feet on new ground and simply explore. In those moments, I am my truest self. Creating is my automatic response to adventure and that is my inspiration for this shop. I do not wish to be known for selling just one thing, but rather a shop who's product is constantly evolving- just as I am.
