Announcement   Thank you for visiting the Living Tongues online store. All proceeds will go towards funding our language documentation projects around the globe. Living Tongues Institute’s objective is to promote the documentation, maintenance, preservation, and revitalization of endangered languages worldwide through linguist­-aided, community-­driven, multi­media language documentation projects.

Since 2005, Living Tongues Institute has reached more than one hundred endangered language communities in fifteen countries. Living Tongues researchers have also created more than eighty Talking Dictionaries to support these languages, and provided valuable digital skills training to dozens of local collaborators who help build the dictionaries.

In buying one of our items, all funds will go directly to helping linguists and language activists document, conserve and maintain an endangered language. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHIRTS AND BAGS:

- To prevent fading, do not wash in a washing machine.

- Instead, wash by hand. Fill a sink with cool water. Add the appropriate amount
of delicate washing detergent, according to the detergent's instructions. Turn your
item inside out and place it in the water.

- Allow the shirt to soak for a few minutes. Swish it around. Rinse the item gently
beneath your faucet. Do not scrub the shirt or squeeze it tightly.
Gently press the water out of the shirt.

- Hang it up to dry.
