Announcement    I do drawings, paintings, and etchings. My work is representational, inspired by the cities and scapes I see when I travel, even when that only takes me as far as my own city.

To me, art has always been meditation and escape. It lives outside of time and place. It’s a space for your mind to wander, both in the making of it and in the looking at / experiencing of it.

My style is generally moody and monochromatic. Atmospheric in nature, I portray empty city streets and facades; landscapes made of light and shadow. It veers into magical realism at times.

“The job of the artist is to always deepen the mystery.”

I'm a Brooklyn-based artist and designer whose work has been featured in magazines and books, including 'The Art of Modern Rock.' My project 'the Atlas of Calendria' was featured on a number of blogs, both cartographic and design-oriented. Thanks for looking and enjoy–
