Well, hello there! I'm so glad you could stop by.

Below you'll find everything you need to know about ordering artwork from Liz Grandmaison Photography. If you have a question that isn't covered here, please get in touch. Chances are good that if you're wondering about something, others are wondering, too.

My product descriptions include information about the papers I use to print my images. All the papers I use are archival, but their surface characteristics vary. Here's a brief description of each:

~ Velvet Fine Art ~ Bright white, 100% cotton rag paper. Heavy weight; produces snappy colors and deep, rich blacks. Moderate texture, similar to watercolor paper.

~ Premium Luster ~ Resin-coated paper, similar to luster surface lab prints. Slight sheen, but not as shiny as glossy surface. Resists fingerprints. Vivid colors and clean blacks.

In a perfect world, currency would include coffee, chocolate, cheese & wine. Alas, we don't live in that world. So, I accept payments via PayPal. It's fast and easy to use, and you don't even need to have a PayPal account to use it.

Immediate payment is expected (just like at the grocery store). I reserve the right to cancel unpaid orders after three days if I don't hear from you.

I will ship your order only after I receive payment in full. If you use a PayPal E-Check, I'll wait until your E-Check clears before production and shipping.

SALES TAX: My fellow Mainers will have 5% sales tax automatically added to their orders.
I will ship your items within 7 business days of receiving payment, usually sooner. If there will be a delay I will contact you immediately.

Orders shipping to U.S. locations will be shipped by USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation. If you need your items sooner or prefer a different method, please get in touch and I'll work with you.

Orders shipping outside the U.S. will travel by USPS International First Class. Any and all customs fees, taxes, tariffs or duties are the buyer's responsibility.

By default, I will ship to the address given to me by PayPal. To prevent delays, please send me a note of explanation if your PayPal and Etsy addresses don't match. Need it shipped to someone as a gift? Just let me know and I'll make it happen.

All artwork is carefully packed, by me, to protect it from weather, accidental drops, and the good folks entrusted with delivery. Sealed plastic sleeves, bubble wrap, and rigid cardboard containers are used as needed, without going overboard. Whenever possible, I will used recycled and/or recyclable materials.

If you would like to add shipping insurance to your order, please contact me and I will add the appropriate amount to your invoice. Insurance is optional but highly recommended, especially on larger orders. Despite my best packing efforts, occasionally a package may arrive looking like it was dragged behind the truck instead of riding inside. I cannot be held responsible for damages once a package leaves my hands.

To qualify for a refund or replacement for damaged or lost items, your package must have been covered by shipping insurance.

If you insured your package and it arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving it and we'll start the recovery process.

I will consider a missing package well and truly lost only if it has been missing for 6 weeks after the ship date. If it still hasn't turned up by then, I will ship your replacement items.
Refunds and Exchanges
My goals are simple: Happy, smiling collectors who tell all their friends about what a wonderful experience they had buying my artwork. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 10 days of receiving it. I will either exchange the item in question or give you a full refund, minus shipping charges.

Returns must arrive in their original condition, so hang on to that box, pack carefully, and use a trackable shipping method.

Because of the differences between light and ink, the colors you see on your computer monitor will not always match the colors in a photographic print. Please rest assured that the colors you see when your print arrives represent my original intent.
