Exquisite Vintage and Victorian Treasures

During my college years, my twin sister Lori and I developed an interest in vintage china. While scouring the antique mall for treasures, I spied a beautiful collection of vividly colored bowls and plates. It was a cabinet full of R. S. Prussia, and I was just mesmerized. My vintage china collection began that day with a terribly expensive berry bowl, and over the years I’ve added English, French and German pieces to it.

Lori and I have always been drawn to all things vintage, Victorian and tea-themed. One year, we made fabric and gimp Christmas ornaments. A friend showed me how to make Victorian beaded lamp shades, so I started on those as well. Over the years, my projects expanded to include vintage jewelry picture frames, silk floral arrangements, and vintage china tiered serves. Eventually, I opened an online store to share my creations with total strangers, much to the delight of my family, who already had more than enough of my crafts!

Eventually, I made the move to Etsy, which seemed like a good place to share my hand-crafted and vintage treasures! Inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, I call my shop The Drawing Room at Pemberley, as I’m sure that Miss Elizabeth Bennet would have filled the room with similar vintage loveliness once she had the pleasure of becoming Mrs. Darcy.

I was also happy to persuade my sister Lori to open an Etsy shop for her own business The Gardens at Pemberley, where she crafts silk wedding and event flowers. Together our sister (or twin) stores provide floral and vintage-inspired loveliness from the drawing room and from the garden! You can visit Lori’s shop at

In-stock items will ship within one business day of receiving payment. Custom orders will ship within two weeks. All items are securely wrapped and packed using standard shipping supplies like bubble wrap and packing peanuts. I do not use newspaper or make-shift boxes.

My preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority Mail, which has a shipping time of 2-3 days. For larger items, I may use USPS Ground which has a shipping time of 2-9 days. For very small items or paper crafts, I may use USPS First Class Mail. International shipping options are available for Canada. My goal is to use the least expensive option that will still get the item to you in a timely fashion, by a method that will accommodate both tracking and insurance. I currently ship within the US and to Canada only. Shipping overages that exceed $1 will be refunded to you.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible. To that end, I will work with you to resolve any issues of disappointment. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis and will be granted at my discretion, generally for issues related to mis-representation on my part. Please read the item description carefully before you buy. Measurements and wear are disclosed in the description. If you have additional questions about an item, please contact me. If a refund is agreed to, the item must be repackaged in the same manner as it was received. The bearer of return shipping costs (you or me) will depend on why the item is being returned.

Please note: I primarily use USPS for shipping and while I make every effort to insure items are securely wrapped, I have no control over packages while they are in the custody of the post office. Should you receive the item in a damaged condition due to shipping (box is crushed on one side, etc.), contact me for instructions. Insurance claim procedures vary depending on the item value and the shipping method.
Additional policies and FAQs
Item condition: Items are sold “as is” which means that antique porcelain will show signs of age and wear. Hand-applied transfers will show variations in the application of the decoration or otherwise display characteristics of having been individually handcrafted. It is also important to note that while some porcelain items were designed to be cabinet pieces for display, others were designed to be functional and will therefore show evidence of having been used. I will make every effort to accurately describe antique items with respect to damage (cracks, chips, crazing), wear or repair.

Descriptions of back stamp identification and age estimates are included for general informational purposes only. Dates are based upon my available reference material as a novice collector of antique porcelain and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

Handcrafted items, such as lamp shades, vintage jewelry frames, or tiered servers may be fabricated from both new and vintage materials. As these pieces are handmade, no two of the same item will be exactly alike, and each item will have unique characteristics that make it one of a kind.
