About

I began to love clay in Vermont, where I received a BFA degree from Green Mountain College. After graduating, I moved to coastal Mendocino, CA to work as a resident artist at the Mendocino Art Center. Here I have decided to put down roots, and our relationship continues to grow and change. I love how clay feels and moves, how I can learn from it and challenge it but only to a certain point. When others see the things I make I want them to think "Oh! There you are!" in a refreshed and familiar way. Our relationship as maker and buyer is a symbiotic one.

Welcome :)

All of my ceramic work is created by me in the beautiful coastal village of Mendocino, CA. I try my best to explain the physical details of each object I create, but I also want to share the personal connection I feel with every thing I make. Please let me know if you have any questions I have left unanswered.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Shipping
Everything in my shop is clearly listed as "ready to ship" or "made to order". "Made to order" or custom orders range from 1-3 months processing time depending on the quantity and intricacy of the order. A clear date of arrival will be agreed upon between the buyer and myself during the ordering process.

I try to do my best to use all repurposed shipping material when possible. This may mean a box that arrives to a customer that has a different company's logo (i.e. Amazon) and a few different kinds of packing materials to keep work secure. I think it's very important to reuse these materials whenever possible, otherwise they generate a lot of waste. This also allows me to keep shipping costs down because I'm not buying costly packing bubbles and boxes out of pocket. However, if your item is a gift and you'd like a more elegant, formal, refined packing arrangement please let me know in your order! I'm happy to make that happen for you :)
