It all started with a Kodak Box camera. My grandfather's best friend was a photographer and he was always taking photos of us and our town. When he gave my brother and I a Kodak box camera and dark room equipment the joy of photography was unleashed in me. In high school I purchased my first 35 mm SLR camera and experimented with a variety photographic of techniques. Unfortunately, I never thought of Photography anything more then a hobby and majored in Art History in college instead.
Today, I embrace my passion and enjoy photographing, creating, and sharing my work with others.

I collect images of my adventures and my life, and it is these images that make up my body of work. My photography often documents a passing time or place, I consider it historical. But, photography is more than documentation as it is also an exploration of light and composition.

I try to bring all these elements together into my work. My subjects range from landscapes, travel, seasons, and people.

One of my favorite series is my "Explorations of the New Southwest." The history and beauty of the Mohave Desert inspired me. Ghost towns, National Parks, machinery and cars left abandoned, and sections of old Route 66 are all subjects that make up the images in the series. They are images that recall the past grandeur of the objects and reveal how beautiful objects become as nature reclaims; in general, images that reflect the beauty of the desert in our present day. The are images of my adventures.
