I can't keep my brain from thinking and my hands from doing.

I started selling jewelry at craft shows in 2002 and it has snowballed from there.
I have booths in 2 shops in 2 towns and with my 40 hour work week at Roche Diagnostics, writing submissions to magazine, and taking care of my Dad(he is in assisted living but the guy is ALWAYS up to something...)sometimes I forget where I am -
No empty nest syndrome for me - my daughter is my partner in crime as she supports me with her ideas and drawings -
My son is my computer geek, so I can call him anytime for assitance and believe me I am considered the Bermuda Triangle of computer users - " How did you get on this page, Brenda?"
It is so much fun and I love all the mixed media stuff(I have done it for years , but did not know what to call it).
When I get bored with one technique, I jump to another.
I like to recycle stuff that people would throw away.
Trash to treasure so to speak...

    Owner, Maker, Designer, I Am A Jill-of -all-trades-mistress-of-none

I was raised on a dairy farm in the middle of the Midwest - so I love to do anything, make anything OUTSIDE or if I can't go outside then bring it in. I love, love, love color and texture and do jump around a bit on my artistic pogo stick. I like to try different medias and techniques to see what kind of spin I can put on them. My jewelry designs have been in Fire Moutain Gems Catalog, Simply Beads magazine, Step-by-Step Wire magazine, Stringing magazine, 101 Necklaces, Bracelets, and Earrings 2012(my purple earrings were on the cover - woo hoo) and in 2 books - The Four Seasons of Beading and Earrings, Earrings, Earrings. I did teach jewelry classes at my local Hobby Lobby but had to give it up due to time constraints. I just recently started selling my photography and will be featured at the Greenfield, In. Chamber of Commerce in Jan/Feb 2013. I believe Life is very fleeting so want to catch it so to speak before my senses don't function. My inspriations are my daughter(she is soooo talented and everything is fresh to her) and my dear departed Aunt Marcella - she did not start painting unitl she was in her 50s. I love a good challenge, so let me make you something that makes you laugh, reminds you of your beautiful memories, makes you feel beautiful(and I believe you REALLY are), or whatever suits your fancy.
