Distinctive beach glass jewelry

Pacific Grove, California

Announcement    We're in the deep end of summer, and I made this week's feature out of tiny pieces from all over that I could see forming the face of a Green Man.

I look for beach glass everywhere I go, and make it into necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. I prefer bold, statement pieces, though I make all kinds of things, inspired by what I see on the beach. All the glass is material from my travels and comes from all over the world. I can use your beach glass to create jewelry that holds your own memories. I can add to what you have, or you can select the colors and pattern you like for a one-of-a-kind piece. All pieces are made with sterling silver unless labeled otherwise. Email for more information.

From beachcombing around the globe to Etsy

I am a retired archaeologist and university professor. When we retired, my husband and I decided to spend our time traveling the world – mostly to places with beaches. We have collected beach glass since a trip to southern Spain 30+ years ago and it continues as one of our favorite pastimes. In the early years of collecting, we would return to the sea the glass we had collected, as we just had too much to carry around in our two suitcases. Several years ago, I decided to try my hand at making beach glass jewelry with the best of our finds. My friends liked it and it burgeoned into this site. Every piece of glass in my jewelry was collected by the two of us somewhere in the world. The pieces are hand drilled. My glass comes from Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Scotland, the east and west coast of the U.S. as well as the Great Lakes. My prices are based on rarity and beauty of the glass. Please note that although this is glass, it has been tossed and turned in the waves for years, sometimes decades and is all nicely smooth; most pieces have a softly frosted surface patina.
Based on my own shopping experience, I decided to include free shipping on all the items I sell. I don't like discovering a big additional fee once I've decided to purchase something.
