I have looked at the embroidery very carefully. The stitches are so consistent and perfect, even around circles. I really thought that it must have been machine done. Beautiful work! Having the embroidery done by hand makes this piece even more special to me!

There is another table runner on my design wall partially sewn together. I'm trying to decide what borders to put on it.

About

Addicted to Quilting

Years ago, when we had a booth at a craft mall, I started making doll quilts to fix up doll beds that we had for sale. It was so much fun that I decided to start selling doll quilts on Etsy. I sold my first doll quilts in 2009 and since then I have kept making them and expanded to making table runners and even baby quilts to sell. My passion is making quilts out of the civil war reproduction fabrics that I love. Of course, I love all fabric and use a variety of styles.

I enjoy making quilts to give to family members and to donate to worthy causes. I have entered some of my quilts into quilt shows and have been lucky enough to win some ribbons. I was even fortunate to be able to hang one of my large quilts at the 2014 International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas.

I love to use quilts in my home decor. Small quilts can be used on top of small tables or other pieces of furniture, such as a bedside table. I like to hang them on the wall or on the back of a chair as you can see below.
