Announcement   SHIPPING UPDATE (2/24/15): Because I am currently a student as well as having a "day job", all orders will take up to 7 days from purchase to ship. This is really only because there is only one day per week that I am able to access a Post Office. Please keep this turnaround in mind when ordering!

I am ecstatic to be a sponsor of the March ArtsyCrush boxes! For info on payment, shipping, custom work, trades, wholesale, and more, please read my Shop Policy page. Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you're interested in a custom piece! I always love to create something special for someone!

You can find me mostly on Instagram @LolitaRoseStudio. Make sure to follow me for exclusive sales, behind the scenes stuff, and to support all the auctions I participate in.

About

Bohemian, with an edge.

I grew up in a pretty rural town, just south of Buffalo, NY. My father started his own company around the time I was born, so naturally I was born with an entrepreneurial spirit. It was only a matter of time before I, too, found something I loved enough to turn it into my very own business.

I grew up creating things. Ever since I was a child, I was always cooking, coloring, sewing, crocheting...you name it, I did it. Living in a rural area definitely helped my creative spirit flow - we didn't even have a satellite dish until I was 13! I had to come up with something to do to occupy myself, and with the encouragement and help of my grandmother, I taught myself to sew, crochet, and cook. My first sewing machine was from the '60's, one of those machines that was built into the sewing table. It was fussy and never kept the thread tension properly, but I loved sewing with it.

When I was about 18, I was watching a television program and one of the women on the show was a jewelry designer. She created the prettiest necklace for another character on the show, and I wanted so badly to recreate that necklace! So I went out, bought some jewelry supplies...and fell in love with yet another art form. Since that day, I'm constantly finding some new jewel or bead or chain that I want to incorporate into my designs. Everything I make is made with both practicality and beauty in mind. Simplicity is my main focus when creating something new. I love to create pieces that are simple, yet pretty...something one could wear with jeans and a tshirt, or with that little black dress!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my little shop! I hope you'll find something you LOVE!

I have been creating things (whether sewing, cooking, crocheting, scrapbooking, or making jewelry) for as long as I can remember. There is no better feeling than having someone else fall in love with something you've made!
