This morning, a very sweet little teapot arrived in the mail and is now ready for afternoon tea. Well packaged for shipping and in excellent condition. Thank you Caren.

About

Where good vintage & lonely art come to live...

Hello! My name is Caren and The Vintage Apartment is in actual fact, my home. It's filled with goodies from the '50s through the '70s (and yes, even some modern stuff thrown in for good measure). I'm a '70s baby and never lost my love of things from another era.
I like to curate interesting (at least to me) products from decades past, with a keen eye on Scandinavian decor, West German pottery, animal shapes (lots of cats & owls & Dachshunds!), copper bits, brass decor and the odd bit of art thrown in for good measure.

Hello! My name is Caren and I live in an actual vintage-filled apartment with my pup Grace and three cats. I am a lomography girl (polaroids are my jam). I adore all things Scandinavian. I love tea and coffee equally.

Shipping
Lonely Bear has come up with estimated shipping costs, and if the actual shipping costs are $2 or more than the estimate, the difference will be refunded.

There is no charge for packaging, as recycling old materials is an important choice to show kindness to the environment (and to cut costs). It may not be the prettiest of all boxes you may receive, but the precious cargo within will be safe and snug for its journey!

Canada Post Expedited Parcel is the preference for shipping in Canada, as it has tracking & insurance included. However, if you need your purchase to get to its destination quicker, contact the shop for a quote on Xpresspost services.

For US shipments, the shop uses Small Packet USA Surface for small packages (under 1kg, no tracking #) or Expedited Parcel for larger items (tracking # incl.). $100 insurance is automatically covered. One must always keep in mind that international shipping means customs - and customs can mean delays.

For overseas shipments outside of North America, I prefer to use International Air which is a faster service - however, it is more expensive than Surface. Air usually takes anywhere from a week to a month to arrive to its destination. Surface can take 3 months or more.
Average shippings costs for overseas range from $20 -$40 for items between 1kg-2kg. Please contact the shop for a shipping quote - I will get one for you quickly.

*You're Etsy & Paypal email addresses & mailing addresses should be the same. If they are not (and you haven't already let me know) the item will be shipped to your PAYPAL address.

*Lonely Bear cannot guarantee delivery times. We're talking about the postal service, and pretty much everyone knows one cannot control how they operate! ;)
Refunds and Exchanges
Lonely Bear deals with refunds on an item-by-item basis. Please contact me if you are unhappy with your purchase, or if an item has been lost in the mail.
