I loved having so many fabric and thread color options as well as getting to see the spacing/centering of the words and design ahead of time. I ended up with something so cute and well-made and will likely be buying some pieces from the shop as well as ordering another custom in the future!

Hello and Welcome
Hi! My name is Amara (she/they) and I embroider.
I am a queer femme lady person who works in a big city public library system.
My grandmother taught me how to embroider when I was young, and I picked the habit back up again in my last year of high school. I started doing embroidery infrequently and just for gifts, but I soon started amassing a big collection of finished pieces that I didn't know what to do with. I decided to start selling them online as a means to make some pocket money and continue creating.
Embroidery helps keep me calm sometimes. I'm not very good at sitting still, and doing something with my hands actually helps me pay attention more. It is soothing and a great way to express myself through an art form.
