Public lands are something we all enjoy and are at the heart of what we do. My business would not exist without these lands, nor would I have gotten into hiking and backpacking without them. For me it all started with a city nature preserve, Arbor Hills, where my family has been hiking for as long as I can remember. Later on as we were preparing for my first Philmont trek I got to explore the Ouachita National Forest. On that trek we spent 5 days in the Valle Vidal of Carson National Forsest which were some of the best days of that trek. I was later fortunate enough to spend several summers in Cashiers, NC with my grandparents were I spent a lot of time exploring the national forests and other public lands.

These lands have helped shape who I am today and have allowed me to pursue my passion in creating outdoor gear. I am proud to be joining forces with Outdoor Evolution and several other companies in the #Giveashit campaign. I will be donating 5% of profits to Texan by Nature to support conservation efforts throughout Texas.

In addition I will be starting to make the switch to 100% compostable packaging. This is a transition that will take some time to fully implement, but as I use up packing materials I will be replacing them with 100% compostable alternatives.
