Loop the Loop,,,from figure skates to knitting needles
Skating coach by day...knitter by night...then one day a student's mom said I should sell what I was knitting...and so it began.
I designed and knitted purses, flower pins, ponchos, shrugs and scarves. I sold them at art shows, in local boutiques and of course, to my students.
Knitting is labor intensive and time consuming. My ideas for new designs were coming faster than I could produce them, so I decided to turn my knitting patterns into sewing patterns.
Now my favorite pastime is wandering through fabric stores picking up whatever catches my eye. Fabric store clerks ask, " What are you making?" My answer is always "I don't know". When I get home to my workroom the fabric speaks to me, and then I know.
What begins as a scarf sometimes turns into a head wrap and then into a beanie...on occasion even a hobo bag. One never knows...you just have to listen to the fabric.

Shipping
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination and are the responsibility of the buyer.

ITEMS OVER 15£ in the EU
Any VAT/Duty/Tax, required upon package arrival, is the responsibility of the buyer.
VAT is not included in the item prices or shipping costs of this shop and is the responsibility of the buyer.
Etsy has recently added information to listings that says "VAT is included in the price (where applicable.)" Be aware that "where applicable" means shops that are VAT registered to collect and remit VAT. This does not apply to my shop, Loop the Loop, Ltd.

SHIPPING OPTIONS
I ship domestically and internationally via USPS First Class Mail in order to keep down shipping costs.
If you need a faster delivery , please choose the Priority Mail option for a few dollars more.
I cannot be responsible if Priority Mail does not deliver within the expected time frame....FYI...it does happen on occasion.
Please convo me with your country and zip code for additional delivery options and costs.

LOST PACKAGES
If a package has not arrived within the predicted amount of time, please let me know within 14 days, so I can start investigating

The USPS considers a package lost if it has not been delivered within 30 days domestically or 45 days internationally.
I will replace item/items if not found within this time frame.
I, however,cannot be responsible for any item lost or stolen if the tracking number indicates it has been been delivered. Etsy sellers will tell you that when an item is reported to be lost, it most likely has been retrieved by a family member, roommate or neighbor...placed somewhere...and forgotten. Check also with your mail carrier.

INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY
Please make sure the shipping address is correct, including last name of recipient. Typos are quite common and delay shipping.
If item is returned to me due to incorrect or incomplete address, I will either resend, BUYER PAYING ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS, or refund the amount of item/items minus all shipping costs.
The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.

RETURNS and REFUNDS

White head forms are a bit smaller than the average person with hair. It is helpful to measure the circumference of your own head to compare how the item will fit you.
FYI...tape measures can be downloaded from many different sites
Please let me know if you require more measurements.
I do my best to take accurate photos of my items. Do keep in mind that colors may appear differently on individual monitors.

I spend many hours experimenting and refining my technique. I personally wear a sample myself to assure its' functionality and to see if it receives compliments from friends and strangers. If it doesn't, I rip it and start all over again!
