Shop policies
All pieces are created by hand. That's the beauty of the product! Those items that must be personalized or customized, there may be slight variances from what is shown in the sample photo. Please read description fully and examine all photographs to get a good idea of item's description.

Returns and exchange details
PERSONALIZED ORDERS MAY NOT BE RETURNED.
This includes ANY personalized engraved jewelry, bookmarks, concert ticket cuffs, braille, medical ID tags, etc.
Personalization text is imported directly into the engraving software from each order. Lora Douglas Jewelry is not responsible for correcting misspellings or catching typos. Should the customer find a misspelling or typo upon receipt of their item, a new/replacement item will need to be purchased. Laser engraving is permanent and can not be corrected or fixed.
If an item arrives damaged you must contact me within 2 days of items arrival. All damage must be photographed and documented, including the packaging. No refund will be issued without photo evidence.
Refunds and exchanges are issued upon receipt of the product in NEW condition. Care must be taken that the item is not damaged during return shipping. Items that are damaged during return shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be refunded.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees.
Refunds and/or Replacement items are not issued for shipments that have exceeded the estimated delivery date or arrive late as a result of the postal carrier. See Shipping Policy for more info.
Payment
Etsy's secure payment processing means Lora Douglas Jewelry does not receive your credit card information.

Payment is expected at time of purchase. Orders in which payment is not received within 7 days will be cancelled.
International buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Shipping
I do NOT guarantee delivery dates.
USPS ALERT: DUE TO LIMITED TRANSPORTATION AVAILABILITY AS A RESULT OF NATIONWIDE COVID-19 IMPACTS, PACKAGE DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED. PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS® SERVICE WILL NOT CHANGE.
Refunds and/or Replacement items are not issued for shipments that have exceeded the estimated delivery date or arrive late as a result of the postal carrier. All packages are shipped within the promised processing time. The seller has no control over the USPS processing once a package is shipped.
After 10 business days: A Missing Mail Search can be filed in hopes that USPS will be able to locate your item.
After 21 business days (Priority Mail Only): An Insurance Claim can be filed for reimbursement.
Once all options to locate the package within the USPS have been exhausted, a refund or replacement may be issued.

Import duties, VAT, fees, and taxes can be incurred when importing goods into your country by a commercial entity.
Every country has it's own rules and regulations regarding the calculation of these fees and taxes. The import duties, fees, and taxes may be calculated on the total value of the item(s) purchased, and some countries may or may not include the cost of shipping in that calculation.

Invoices (with pricing info) are included in all shipments. Please let me know if this is a gift being shipped directly to the recipient so I can leave the invoice out. I'm happy to include a gift message with the shipment.

I will only ship to the SHIP TO address included with the order. If, after purchase is made, you wish to change the shipping address, the order on file will need to be canceled (& fully refunded) and a new ordered placed with the corrected shipping information.
Items returned to the seller because of incorrect or insufficient address supplied will be re-shipped at the customer's expense. Notice of return will be sent to the buyer upon receipt of the returned item along with instructions on submitting payment for the additional postage.

It's the buyer's responsibility to provide a safe place to receive mail. Suspected mail theft should be reported by the buyer to their local post office and the police. Once an item has been marked as DELIVERED by the carrier, the package becomes the private property of the recipient. Seller is not responsible should that item go missing after delivery. We are happy to provide any information needed for police or mail theft reporting. Seller is not responsible for refunding or replacing stolen property.

How do I order a Personalized Item?
On the Checkout screen you'll see a "NOTE TO SELLER" box. Use this space to talk to me. You can be as detailed as you want. If I have any questions about your order, I'll send you an email or a Convo (Etsy's Messaging System).

I'm buying this as a gift. Can you ship directly to the recipient?
Absolutely! I ship to whomever is listed as the "SHIP TO" address when the order is placed.
Simply check the THIS ORDER IS A GIFT checkbox in the Cart and all pricing info will be removed from the packing slip. You can also include an optional gift message here.
I need more than the quanity available.
I hold a reserve of materials in my workshop. Chance are I have the number you need. Just ask!
Will I receive my order by {DATE/CHRISTMAS}?
Delivery Dates are NEVER guaranteed.
Current production time prior to shipping is 3-5 Business days.
Recommended ship-by dates provided by the USPS for Domestic Mail for Christmas Delivery :
- First-Class Mail Dec. 17
- Priority Mail Dec. 19
- Priority Mail Express Dec. 21
I am a "one woman" shop. I work very hard to get all orders out as quickly as possible. 2-3 Day Priority Mail & 1-2 Day Priority Express Upgrades are available at checkout. However, Upgrading your shipping does NOT mean your order will leave my shop any faster.
Do you accept bulk/wholesale orders?
All orders over $35 automatically qualify for Free Standard Shipping. Bulk or large quantity orders that exceed $300 have additional discounts applied automatically prior to checkout depending on the final quantity selected.
If you need more than the quantity listed available, let me know and I can check my inventory. (I hold a reserve of materials in my shop for this reason). If I don't have it on hand, I can usually get it from my supplier within a few days.
