How to measure head size. When measuring your head for a hat, follow these steps:
1) Use a flexible tape measure.
2) With your tape measure, measure around the circumference of your head. Begin at the forehead crown (the part of the forehead that protrudes slightly), around above the ears, and across the back of the head at the point that the skull protrudes, and back to the beginning of the tape measure. This is your head circumference in inches.
3) Take this number and go up to the next whole number. (i.e.: 21 1/2” head measurement you would order 22”). If your measurement is a whole number, go up to the next whole number.
Hat Sizing: Our hats are constructed in whole number sizes: Ex Small = 21”; Small = 22”; Medium = 23”; Large = 25”; Ex Large = 26”.
We excel in custom creations. Have you seen a hat in an old portrait, that you would like to have it duplicated? Or you see one of our hat designs that you would like constructed in a different fabric, or your personal fabric to match your Gown or Doublet? Please contact me to discuss, as it would be a pleasure to work with you. I will not duplicate the work of another artist. Custom designs require a 50% deposit, and the remaining balance is due when the order is complete and ready to ship. Most custom orders are not returnable. Please contact me if you would like to create a custom.
I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on the craftsmanship of my work. If an item is damaged, or not as pictured, please contact me so I may make the necessary arrangements. However, items that are used or damaged, due to abuse or neglect cannot be returned or exchanged. If you wish to have the item repaired, it would be at your expense.
All items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail within 1-2 business days after payment has been received or after completion and payment of customized items. Priority Mail delivery is usually 2-3 days, except for Alaska and Hawaii which require an additional day. Delivery confirmation is included. Although I make every effort to package all items carefully and securely, insurance is recommended. Please contact me prior to purchasing if you would like to insure your items.
